I think their transfer spending is a bit unwise, especially given their financial troubles. If United/Dutch fans are all shocked or angered by the financial immorality of what Barca is doing to both FdJ and the wild, 'party like its 1999' transfer spending; I wonder what Real Madrid management and fans are thinking? Or they are just expecting all this to end badly in the short term?
genuinely think when he does leave it won’t be to unitedIt's on like Donkey Kong
They played him in midfield though.Yeah they definitely don't want him staying.
I knew straight off last night that he'd be one of the subs. They're basically just messing with him now in order to try and pressure him into handing in a transfer request in my opinion
Buckle up muppets. They’re telling him to leave again. This time it’s serious.

Probably it will. But they must sell him, so what can they do?Surely that would put Barca in a much weaker position legally for not paying the 17 million.
Why when they have already accepted our bidYeah they definitely don't want him staying.

Unless they’re saying ‘here’s your 17m now leave immediately”Surely that would put Barca in a much weaker position legally for not paying the 17 million.
BATTLE STATIONS MUPPETS!!!!Buckle up muppets. They’re telling him to leave again. This time it’s serious.

Then he should ask for every single bonuses included in his contract. La Ser is pretty reliable and maybe it means that Barcelona and De Jong found an agreement but a formal notice means that De Jong can demand every single bonuses remaining in his contract.Unless they’re saying ‘here’s your 17m now leave immediately”
Laporta is doing it to get bums on the seats ie sell season tickets? Or for political/election?I think their transfer spending is a bit unwise, especially given their financial troubles.
From Real Madrid's experience, I don't think you need a great 25-man squad to win titles. I'd go further and say it's basically unsustainable in the long run to have such a good squad; players will want to move on for more minutes sooner rather than later. So it's just a waste of time and money. It's worse if so many players are new, since you won't have as much opportunity to help them adapt.
He had a Donnie vibe about him during the game.Yeah they definitely don't want him staying.

Hell will freeze over before Barca let Lewandowski, Raphinha, Kounde and possibly Bernardo miss their first three La Liga games.I saw 31/AUG in that tweet and took a few moments to realise we could have another month of this.
He started last night?Yeah they definitely don't want him staying.

It always was. It's on like Donkey Kong
They’ll register them all without selling anyoneHell will freeze over before Barca let Lewandowski, Raphinha, Kounde and possibly Bernardo miss their first three La Liga games.
They'll fold and pay him his £17m before August 13, mark my words.
Yeap. That's a concern.I know he is very composed on ball but just seen highlights of game last night and it looked like he didn't care. Strolled around the pitch and half arsed passing it and all.
Hopefully we see postive news soon he is coming.
From verbal caution.....to written warningOoh he’s about to get called into the office
nah playing CB was not a signal to leave...it was a warning for what happens when he tries to hold out for his moneyTweet

Didn't this fecker say FDJ wanted to stay a week or so ago?
Not a chance without leveraging even more of their future. Question is whether they prefer Frenkie over 49% of their merch revenue. They’ll register them all without selling anyone
People will raise concerns and a few online allegations of corruption but nothing will get done about it
It’s the Barcelona way
yep, 45 mins and in the midfield. So they played him from the start and in midfield yesterday!
Barcelona's next elections are years away so I don't think he has to worry about this too much.Laporta is doing it to get bums on the seats ie sell season tickets? Or for political/election?
He's probably thinking, "I've already taken a massive wage deferral and am still being shafted and asked to work for half my wages, so I might as well half ass my performances." And who can blame him? If my boss did that to me I'd be out of the door so fast it would make their head spin, and if I had to stick around for any length of time i'd be on such a 'go slow' that I'd probably shatter the space time continuum and time would travel backwardsI know he is very composed on ball but just seen highlights of game last night and it looked like he didn't care.
