You sound surprised. This is the team that England couldn't break down, right?

We broke them down, we just didnt put away our chances. This is the team that England couldn't break down, right?
I'm never surprisedYou sound surprised.
Tbf, we picked up considerably in form since the Poland game. Gomez & Kimmich came into the team after that one, and it helps us immenselyWho said that Slovakia are about as good as Poland?
And if we had put our chances away, then it would have been easier for us. Which is kinda my point. We broke them down, we just didnt put away our chances.
It was always going to be easier for Germany once they got that first goal.
Difference between a World Champion and England. *smugshrug*Slovakia are utter garbage. How we aren't beating these teams comfortably I just can't understand.
If by that you mean close and cagey, then no, but Germany are great to watch. This was never going to be an exciting match.
Spain lost 1:2 during the qualifiers against them. The second match was won 2:0.This is the team that England couldn't break down, right?
Now they have to open up. Could be a fun 2nd halfAll those missed chances again. Frustrating to watch from the missed pen on, Slovakia was even close to the equaliser there with that header. The 2-0 was sorely needed, good thing you can still shoot at Gomez and hope the ball bounces off him into the net.
He is a bit like Ronaldo in the way he dribbles with his pace and is also quite two-footed. He lacks consistency though.Draxler is a great dribbler when on song.
Actually Löw has been the most positive surprise this Euro for me. In other competitions I was usually busy shaking my head about his decisions or well unwillingness to make decisions but this Euro he constantly makes the right decisions in terms of team selection and the problems we had at the start of the tournament are almost fully gone.He is having a good competition, isn't he?
I somehow doubt they will open up. More likely they will still defend for their lives and try standards and counters. Now they have to open up. Could be a fun 2nd half
One painful difference between England and Germany. Lallana is our Ozil!A delight to watch the German team today. Not sure how bad Slovakia has been, but Germany are so good at exploiting every small pocket of space when they´re in this mood. This can easily end 5-0.
Yeah. I have always found him underwhelming when I have seen him. That assist actually reminded me of Martial. Skinning his man and putting it on a plate. He is a bit like Ronaldo in the way he dribbles with his pace and is also quite two-footed. He lacks consistency though.
No, your point was that we didnt break them down. I interpret breaking down a team by getting in behind, which England did. We just couldn't score. And if we had put our chances away, then it would have been easier for us. Which is kinda my point.
In what way? Position? If so, youre wrong. Alli plays as the most advanced for England. Lallana plays wide. One painful difference between England and Germany. Lallana is our Ozil!
I mean by him being that silky player there to unlock defences. In what way? Position? If so, youre wrong. Alli plays as the most advanced for England. Lallana plays wide.
He's not, took it with his weaker foot for some reason. How have I only just noticed that Hamsik is left footed?
Fair enough.I mean by him being that silky player there to unlock defences.
