Forgive meI did not, I did the opposite.

At the time? Mbappé, Lemar, Rony Lopes among others.Forgive me

I'm totally allergic to that player, I don't rate him at all.
Only their cast offs, like BaleId love Son from Spurs. Big game player. Sadly spurs have ascended and don't look like a selling club any more.
Felix would also go for a crazy fee but I feel it wouldn't be more than 80mil, considering he's not been playing in a top league.JPRouve has sung Ounas' praises for a while now. I don't think we'll get Felix unless it's crazy money.Sancho, same but I would like him.
We need creativity allied with a good attitude to work.
Ha ha are people genuinely still coming out with this shite?I don’t get why we need 2 wingers, Martial is very capable on the left, just our tactics ensure he’s got to beat 3 players all the time as we have nothing on the right to stretch play. It’s generally close down Pogba and Martial who both prefer the left and that’s our creativity nullified.
I don't agree. I am pretty certain people laughed at Liverpool for signing Salah because he failed at Chelsea. It's the Lozano Neres type of players that has more likelihood to flourish. Sancho I would love, but one season and probably in excess of a 100 million, very risky.Only Sancho is impressive out of the list. The likes of Pepe, Lozano and Neres are just not good enough for us.
You do realise we're no longer in a position to attract or demand ready made top talent? We are now firmly in the bracket of teams who have to buy young and raw players an develop them ourselves.Only Sancho is impressive out of the list. The likes of Pepe, Lozano and Neres are just not good enough for us.
Their technical skills are not that impressive. Only Neres has a better technique than the two however he hardly runs at players but prefer to drift inside and linkup. I think Kluivert was even above him in the pecking order at Ajax before he left for Roma.I don't agree. I am pretty certain people laughed at Liverpool for signing Salah because he failed at Chelsea. To be honest, I doubt if Dortmund would sell him. However, I don't just want us signing players just for signing sake. I would rather we sign quality players and while I would want Sancho here but if it's impossible, then there are others such as Chiesa, Ounas who could be brought in at a cheaper price. Even Malcolm at Barca although he's a defensive liability and we already have one in Martial. You do realise we're no longer in a position to attract or demand ready made top talent? Why on earth would Sancho come to Old Trafford? What can we offer him? He'd likely be sacrificing Champions League football for at least one season, most likely consecutive seasons. Risking an almost guaranteed spot for Euro 2020. Our player development is nowhere near as good as Dortmund. Our best players clearly want out. We have a manager unblooded at the top level.
The only reason he comes is for a ridiculous wage packet. And we know how that turned out before.
I would love to believe that he gets sold on the idea of this United project and maybe seduced by the idea of playing with friends in Rashford, Lingard, Gomes etc. but I don't actually believe it will happen. His agent would be mad for allowing him to risk so much on such a fairy-tale scenarios.
How is Pepe not good enough? People are knocking his goal return because of all the pens, but he’s top or second in assists in the French league, too, and Lille aren’t exactly scoring for fun. He’s scored or assisted a ridiculous percentage of their goals.Only Sancho is impressive out of the list. The likes of Pepe, Lozano and Neres are just not good enough for us.
They are called wingbacks now. We need one of those as well.Whatever we are discussing are all who likes to cut inside. Is there any wingers who can keep the width? Like a traditional winger?
Sancho was always going to cost around £100m at least which given all the players we need was never realistic. We aren’t looking for the final piece in our team but a complete rebuild. Now that Sancho is off the table then i don't really care. The rest of the options are levels below and will only serve to cement our place as a 4th/5th/6th placed team. I think we're done for a while now.

In what scenario do you imagine Sancho coming here?Relying on Martial & Rashford is dumb. Neither are ready yet so 100% agree with the OP. Yes we need to buy smart and I hope we start with Sancho.
I haven't been following the latest gossip. Has something happened recently making this a no go?In what scenario do you imagine Sancho coming here?
I’m genuinely curious.
Agreed however we have neitherLiverpool bought their front line from Southampton, hoffenheim and roma. We don't need big money signing to improve the attack. We require good scouting and smart coaching.
Abduct his family and force him to play for us. Even then he might refuse. In what scenario do you imagine Sancho coming here?

Lingard is not a winger. He has never played as a wide player for us. Just because the TV broadcaster shows him wide right, it doesn't mean he plays there. He's always played centrally for us. The only wingers we have are Martial and Sanchez .Lingard won't leave. So we've got two wingers at the club
Yes, he's NOT a winger and Mata isn't either. However, he's not always played centrally for us. A winger is not just someone who hugs the touchline and crosses the ball (atleast not in modern football). Lingard supposedly plays on the wings and drifts inwards. He does not have the discipline to operate on the RW which is why our right side does not attack especially when you have Young operating behind you and it is also why our midfield gets so congested.Lingard is not a winger. Ye. We’re average, he’s not.I haven't been following the latest gossip. Has something happened recently making this a no go?
Was hoping United would throw £80-£90 million and add a lucrative pay package for him.
