On the flip side of all this, now is really the best and possibly our only chance of getting these cnuts out. Fans are furious. All we need to do is stoke the fire and there's nothing they can do. Even if somehow things turn around and ten Hag makes a successful season, do we really need the agony of this ownersihp to continue?

i think so. You have Neville going rogue, the media having been writing about them recently and there is some kind of consortium bid in the pipeline. Seems like the spotlight is being put on them

Genuine question.

If all/vast majority of united fans want the same (change of ownership, regular title challenges, quality signings, little/no debt etc).

Why can we not all UNITE and do something about our current decline in football.

I'm not talking about violent protest or anything along them lines. Why can we not get everybody siniging from the same hymn sheet?, why as a fanbase are we so divided?, Why can we not come up with feasable ideas that we all agree on and put these ideas to good use?

The vast majority b1tch and moan (including myself) about the state of how the club is run but we will do nothing about it.

It's genuinely baffling.
There is one thing that would get their attention, but it won’t happen. If every one of you who have game tickets bought a City jersey (you can burn it later), walked into he stadium normal, threw the City jerseys on, and walked out of the stadium.

Showing up for protests in expensive United merch and shouting about how much you care for the team doesn’t make them want to sell. They don’t care if you hate them. They spend money on the Bucs because if they don’t, people will just become Dolphins fans. There is market pressure on the value of their asset.

You guys will be there for United no matter what. Which is awesome, but in this case puts you in a serious disadvantage.

No, they are not willing to pay for what, in American sorts, is generally called the “plumbing”.

The buy a player every now and then and try to convince people they are spending money on the club.

The infrastructure for success that Liverpool and City have, and Chelsea is building costs a lot of money. The Glazers will avoid all that, drop 70 million on another player, then try to convince people they are up to owning a club the stature of United. They aren’t.

The other poster made an excellent point about the Anti-Glazer clauses in our owner search. Maybe the Glazers should take that as a hint?
The issue is, in the NFL, they lucked into two Superbowls with Gruden and Arians, so they think that as long as they get a good coach, that can overcome their mismanagement. So when the results don't go their way, it's clearly the managers fault.

In between those two Superbowls, the Bucs have had 20 years of some of the worse teams in the NFL. That might be our fate, middling to lower finishes with the odd bit of glory thrown in every 20 years or so.

This. If you really want to hurt the glazers then the only way is in the pocket. It was a fluke but because of circumstances my last season ticket was 2004/5 season. I have bought 1 top for my grandson since. Stop buying anything Utd as it will hurt them more than you.

Yeah, probably the angriest I've seen the fanbase in a long time. At a certain point the club will be too toxic for anyone to be associated with and sponsors will start to take note. I mean if you're a company looking for a club to sponsor would you really want to be mixed in this right now?

We need more protests, and we need to boycott everything, and most importantly, we need to stop telling people that it won't work.

All us fans need to start review bombing everything related to the Glazers.

And boycott buying anything related to the club

They really need to go :(

Edit - I think turning on the sponsors is the only thing we can really do as a fanbase. Make it too toxic to sponsor us and hopefully the parasites will sell up

This might be a harsh reality but the reason these cnuts are still here is because of you. When I say you, I mean you who constantly buy merch, season tickets, regular match tickets. If fans started taking action by actually not going to games they would have been forced to sell up long ago. These owners keep spitting in our faces every year and in return you put your money down their pockets each year and then sit complain like parrots without actually taking any action meanwhile they take out 20 million quid each year on dividends....

Wonder how Fergie feels these days after supporting these parasites to take over the club

It's destroyed his legacy for me

The warning signs were there back in 2009! What we’re seeing now can be backdated from then!

I agree. We replaced Ronaldo with Valencia and Owen

Midfield neglected for years. 14 years of rot

Empty ground, protests, stop buying the merch. Make the sponsors nervous, show them the fans are more powerful. Otherwise this downward spiral keeps on going down.

I said these years ago on this very forum and hardly got any support.

There’s only one language these Glazers understand and it’s money. So communicate with it!

He left in the right time so in that regard I think he’s pretty relaxed. There were signs even back in 2009 of a backlash. RvP masterpiece won us the title. A rebuild were imminent and SAF knew that.
But I think he’s suprised How shit we’ve been since then.. I think we all are a bit shocked.

Give peas a chance.
I am surprised no one has tested them with a serious offer in the last few years (that we know about). I think they'd sell the club in a heartbeat if they made a tidy profit because they're clearly not in it for the sporting achievement.

I really hope they are chased out of this club.

They have used our great heritage to make monetary gain, to the tune of millions.

Would you go to Stonehenge, smash it up and take money for yourself, legally? Heritage is quite rightly protected by laws in this country.

These leeches have pounced on an important part of British heritage and degraded it for their own ends.

Chelsea were allowed to screen potential buyers to ensure they weren’t affected in the same way we have been affected by the glazers. An ‘anti-Glazer’ clause.

That’s an admission by the UK government that what these parasitic owners have done to our club is wrong

Whatever you think about Manchester United, whatever your club, you need to do something to address this issue.

We need to relentlessly target these utter cnuts
Spot on. Great post.

The way our team is atm, it’s making me hope the Saudi’s would have taken over us rather than Newcastle.

Boycotting the club is the only way to force Glazers out. Football should be a distraction but for me it's a source of angst and toxicity.

Saudis apparently tried to get 50% but of course they didn’t take it because we’re cursed and they just fecking leave us.

We basically need to go full Liverpool 2010 and accept the shit that’s going on on the pitch and just focus on getting the current owners out.

Until fans actively start to go after the Glazers business such as disrupting the Tampa Bay Bucs which would cause a big storm over in the US . The Glazers will get away with everything . The Fans have to get on the attack and start hurting them

I said this in another thread that we are on the road to becoming the next Everton where its flirting with the bottom half of the table whilst playing in a run down ramshackle stadium.
Currently there is no pull for a player to come to MU other than high wages.

MUFC as you know it is dead and its heritage is in existential crisis with the Glazers in charge.

It could be that United have already become a former giant that will be just that. A former giant. Might never win a major trophy again.
The name will always be big. Not necessarily relevant at the business end of the season.

That fact has to be faced at this point.

This 200%. People sure are thick stupid when they don't realize that the feckers in charge are still there because people still feed them until they (the Glazers) grow fat when they should be starved. When the owners and the hierarchy of a sports club keep on disrespecting the fans, there is no reason whatsoever for you the people to spend a penny on them. Football is supposed to be the people's game. And just like in any other business, the customers should be the ones demanding for a lot better rather than tolerating shit. The service you are provided MUST be forced to do what is necessary to keep customers happy.

Absolutely. Their pockets should be targeted first and foremost.

I don't know what those leeches poured their money into in the last few years, but to go from billions down to only £450 million in the bank (according to what Gary Neville on TV said today) is very disconcerting. That's crazy when you think that they never used their own money to invest in players. They should be outright forced in choosing between us or the Tampa Bay Buccaneers because their financial situation is just not sustainable if the numbers are true.

Glazers are used to losing. 7 of 10 of the last seasons the Tampa Bay Bucs have had losing records.
This won’t shake them. They are in for the long term.

totally different scenario. NFL is a socialistic operation where teams make a profit regardless.

The truth is like Neville alluded to, we as fans could get together and run United and have the ability to spend more money on the club than we currently do because the club earns more than we need without putting any external money in.

If it wouldn’t be sad and pathetic with like 6 people turning up, a protest at a Bucs game could get some local media attention in Florida. I’m sure Florida cops would love to arrest anyone with a banner in the stadium though.

That would be a direct violation of the First Amendment in the United States. Believe it or not, but Americans LOVE their First Amendment. You have to be quite ballsy if you go against the First Amendment in a context where there is nothing irresponsible in the message.

The director of football appointment was clearly a token move. It looks to me that ten Hag has made all the calls in the transfer window even though at Ajax his success came from relying on a good recruitment team.
There are countless players out there that would have improved our midfield.
Bissouma and Ruiz for 50m in June would have been night and day.

Between the glazers dithering and the disjointed recruitment team we are a shambles.

Going to do everything I can to try to push these owners out and I hope we can all join together in that goal.

Great to see the likes of Gary Neville and Rio Ferdinand speaking out about them.

Really hope the fans will have protest at Liverpool games again. At the very least more banners and also white handkerchief like Madrid's fans. We need to do this consistently to have any effects on the sponsors and the leeches' dividends will be affected.

We all know why they won't appoint a DOF it's because it would expose them for the utter disgrace they are to this club

Yeah every time you put a penny into this club it allows them to just laugh in our faces. I know it's hard not attending games and buying merchandise but tourists and die hards need to see the bigger picture before we are cast into obscurity for good.
