Excellent to see this in the Caf, does my heart good. #GlazersOut #WoodyOut #FootballFirst. The first thing is the massive fanbase turning against them. Even if it hastens the exit of these goons by just five minutes, its well worth it.
As I’ve said in the other thread, all of this is ultimately pointless whilst the ground is full every week.
We went through in 2010 and are repeating the same mistakes. For any successful and effective protest, you need the following.
1) Effective leadership amongst the match going support rather than social media reds. United We Stand and Red News need to step up.
2) An end game for when any protest is taken in the real world. Marches had no impact in 2010, flash mobs against sponsors looked great in 2005 but ultimately failed.
- Why would a tweet be any different?
3) Likewise, if Daniel James turns out to be the next Ronaldo, will everyone just shut up about the Glazers until he’s sold to Madrid for 200 million and they start hash tagging again?
