I kind of understand what you're getting at but all most are doing is releasing a one off product wrapped in a rainbow flag, such as Bud Light and Miller Lite did. Showing support for an oppressed community in that way deserves for them to be boycotted and treated the way they are? I don't think so...... That's not right at all.
Why can't these bigoted clowns just look past the rainbow edition and grab the regular product that's on sale.next to it? Why the feck does it bother them so much that they have to not only Tweet and rant about it, but then never buy the product ever again? Worse, call all their friends, family and like minded people to never use the product again?
If it came out that Netflix was ran by people who all dressed like Jimmy Saville and they regularly invited kids to special Jim will fix it parties, then yeah, by all means boycott them. People are free to boycott whatever they want for whatever reason they want, and to be honest, it's pretty irrelevant what you or I think of them boycotting it.
I've boycotted Israeli goods, and companies that sustain and work with the Israeli government for as long as I can remember. I wouldn't take too kindly to someone telling me saying the things your saying (and I'm not saying this is a like for like example, but there's some overlap in terms of the agency I have in where and how I spend my money).
In large parts of the US, they're essentially Christo-fascist states, so it's not really beyond the realms of thinking that they'd boycott this, just as I imagine they'd boycott pro-Palestinian items as it'll go against their Christo-Zionist views, or the deflection and nonsense they spout, or how everything becomes about Marxism when it comes to BLM.

Of course people can boycott what they want,.but what you and I think may be irrelevant until we join forces with others who are doing the same. That's like saying one vote doesn't matter. It does. It all has to start somewhere, and everyone posting and peddling this hateful boycotting of companies and products are equally complicit and guilty as each other.
It's just a shame, especially in the USA that people can't protest this much about the lack of free health care, or gun control or (and this will resonate with the right, as it's something they are always banging on about) looking after their veterans. Nah, it's easier to play the victim and be hurt by something that you could easily ignore, and to spread hate while constantly attacking others for being hateful.
You honestly couldn't make it up, but sadly it's a reality and my whole point is where is it going to stop? The hate and viciousness is just growing by the day, and the more support they get from the likes of Trump and DeSantis and all the time they see their boycotts working the more they feel they are empowered and doing the right thing. All the while, yet again those that have fought for equality and some just to even be recognized let alone accepted are being made out to be the problem. It's beyond fecking disgusting.
