For a long time we've been able to pride ourselves on having real height in the boardroom, though alas, with the installation of this nerdy Edward Woodward, such times can be but resigned with regret to the history books. It's just the latest example of the Glazers leeching from us at the expense of the club's glorious yet rapidly receding heritage.

It's not actually going to make any difference in the boardroom - Gill's staying on the board and Woodward is already on it.

So why did he leave?

What reason given?

Hope doesn't have an impact like Dein leaving had for Arsenal. Also especially considering SAF's age.

Not especially...but carry on.
People will find ways to complain about anything.

You could literally whip it out and pee gold all over someone, and they would be all "ow ow you bastard it stings, it burns".

I hope he told someone where the transfer warchest is stored.
Florida, under very heavy guard watched over by a drooling Malcolm Glazer who sits there with mashed carrots and potatoes dribbling down his chin as a nurse tries in vain to prize a stained cheque book out of his hand.

Let's get Gills back for the transfer windows.
