This group will try to get Netherlands their first piece of silverware since Van Basten...

If Weghorst scores the winner in the final.... from a Malacia's cross, our season will get even better.

It would be typical of Italy to win it, then not qualify for the Euros.

Does the Emerson fellow still play for Italy? He could complete his set of winning every UEFA trophy there is.

Two big games for us coming up. Hopefully Haaland is still suffering from a hangover.

He is not in their squad for theses finals. Google says he played a few minutes against England in the group stage. But I don’t think you get a medal for that…

Only half-watching but really seems like Ake has made a leap. Sutalo on the other hand really struggling.

I think both teams are right. Or wrong. I don't know, I'm just here to add a neutral voice.

He seems quite lenient both ways. The Virgil thing was a foul I think yeah. Funny we seem to be the only 2 posting in this topic
NL is like Europa league.
It is "mickey mouse cup"
BUT when your team can win it; "it is a trophy"!!

Yeah, Ake now comfortably our best defender. Geertruida is also very easily holding his own, which I love to see.

Especially for a team like us, since we never win a real trophy anyway :(

Honestly couldnt give a feck if we win this trophy. No legacy, no feelings.

Everyone has football fatigue after the last season
This will be final nail in coffin for me. World cup was first, Sevilla game was second, City in FA was third. If/when we don't win this......i am logging out from football and everything about football until August.

Surely coming 3rd in the World Cup is not a huge deception? Though I was also quite mad after losing to Argentina.

That was our last chance to win World cup. Probably ever. So that game vs Argentina.....worst moment of the season by far.

Damn, now i am sad.:(:D

I feel you. I still don't want to look at that Robben chance from 2010 :(

Now I'm sad too.

Aargh look at you two, all buddy buddy now. See the power of football and how it unites people who were arguing just 10 minutes ago! @KirkDuyt @Andycoleno9  I jest lads.

To your point Andycole, yeah the FA cup final did it for me. Barely watched the UCL final although I skimmed in and out in the hope of an inter win!

Now that Donyell Malen has been fully unleashed a World Cup is finally on the cards for the Netherlands.
