Match threads are like a special sieve for filtering out people who don’t understand the basic principle of forwards earning lots of chances being a good thing. This lad is an elite player. When he’s fit and has any sort of supporting cast, he scares defences. A better finisher might have had a hat trick. Some better finishers who don’t have his acceleration or desire wouldn’t have earned any of those chances though.
He seems to do better when he has more to do. He almost went on the periphery with Bruno, Pogba, Martial and Mason in there. Seems like he's regained his confidence now and is putting himself in the right places again
Think a lot of people joined the band wagon in deciding that he's a kick and rush merchant and now they desperately want it to be true. Can't really see why else you wouldn't absolutely love him.
