Serie A will improve this season. Clearly ahead of Bundesliga and Ligue 1.

What a window Inter had.
Nainggolan - 38 million (24 million + 2 players)
Martinez - 25 million
Politano - 25 million
Asamoah - Free transfer
De Vrij - Free transfer.
Vrsaljko - Loan with option to buy (7+18 million)
Vidal - loan with option to buy

Apart from Martinez, all of them for first team and they didn't even spend too much money. Apart from Vidal they spent 113 million Euros.
Politano is a loan with option to buy as well. Inter are hamstrung by FFP sanctions

And for all that, they're still likely going to start Candreva
:(

Woah, didn’t know they had signed Martinez. Very interested to see how he does this year. Could be a really good striker.

They play in the Champions League this season so they had to strength.

Candreva should be backup, Politano will be probably the starter on the right wing. (and there's also an interesting talent like Karamoh)

If Vidal will come too, Spalletti will have many different solutions to play with.

Can‘t Martinez play on RW? If not, when should he play if Icardi occupies the CF position all the time?

Vidal is a good option if you take into account the state of Inter‘s central midfield, but 30m option to buy for a 31 years old is way too high. He is not worth more than 20m, especially with his wage demands, injury record, fitness record, drinking record etc

Bayern were desperate to offload a midfielder cause they had too many. Should have got him on the cheap.

Think Vidal is very close and will be done. Midfield will be Brozovic - Vidal with Nainggolan playing in attacking role. Perisic and Politano as wingers.

Was thinking maybe they will switch to 3 man defense with de Vrij signing.

Sky Sport: Vidal is done for Inter (around 18-20m), but Inter directors are putting this deal in stand-by becouse the dream is Luka Modric!

I expect Inter to finish second. They have done great business and have a good team on paper. Napoli will have a difficult season with Ancelotti and change. Roma i dont rate that high, their transfers were more for the future.

Martinez and De Vrij are supposed to be highly rated aren't they? The only worry would be the age of Asamoah, Naiggolan and Vidal. But they're all players who have been successful in Serie A so the risk is small.

Yeah both are highly rated. With de Vrij they might play 3 at the back as Miranda is very good CB too.

Asamoah is 29 and free transfer, so low risk one. Like you said all 3 have so much Serie A experience.

Btw they also offloaded Santon in Nainggolan deal, so that's a big positive.

Inter is looking really good, if they manage to get Modric too, I could see them making to the semi finals in the UCL.

They won't. But they're getting Vidal. That's a scary midfield to play against
I don't know how this story will end up but late rumours are growing about getting BOTH!

Imagine Nainggolan,Vidal,Modric,Brozovic all together …...

Stood up on Vidal at last minute.

Still very good window, only one I don't know much about is Politano, which team he joined from?

Sassuolo. It's loan with option to buy deal (5M + 20M)

With Vidal, their window would have been awesome, shame he didn't end up there. Vidal and Nainggolan midfield would have been great to watch.

Seriously... Higuain for £16m for a year ain’t bad business.
18m euro loan fee for this year, and then a 36m euro obligation to buy next year (payable in two installments). 9.5m euros in wages for first year of 3 year deal with wages increasing to 10m per year for remaining two years.

Caldara was valued by Juve at 35m (same as Bonucci), and his fee will be paid over two installments as well. 5 year contract with wages at 2m per year (plus bonuses).

And they get rid of Bonucci's 8m/year wages.

Thought Caldara was class at Atalanta (that goal he scored v Napoli few seasons back....). Don't understand why he isn't getting a chance at Juve, Rugani is nothing special at all and Bonucci and Chellini in their 30s now so not long term options.

They will buy him back in the future if he turns out a world beater

He hasn't been involved with Milan since he retired. He didn't left them well.
He's always been his own man and wanted an executive job to stay at the club. This is the first ownership to offer him that.

As for his fight with curva sud, well. Ultras gonna be ultras...
