Horrendous pitch. The 2 teams are lucky to get out of this game without injuries.

We are terrible, yet the hunt for a CL spot continues.

I agree the sky is the limit talent wise. But his biggest problem previously has been work rate and it really seems sometimes like he doesn't care, but he seems more driven this season because there were rumors Maldini told him this his make or break season or he'll be sold. I hope he keeps this up cos i have a love hate relationship with him, i love him when he's confident and can beat any defender on his day but before this season that didn't happen too often and i thought he should be sold.

Juventus did not have a single shot on goal against Milan yesterday. That's all you need to know about the current level of their attacking line, and unless they sign Vlahovic by the end of January I wouldn't bet a penny on them ending the season in the top 4.

That’s why the Vlahovic move is crucial for Juve. And it seems the club understands that.

Yes I read the news and frankly I feel sad for the Fiorentina fans. Their team is losing their absolute best player. The whole game was built around Vlahovic and I have no idea how the Scuadra Viola are going to find a decent replacement for him in a few days.

Senator and former prime minister Renzi (a fan of Fiorentina) is pissed at the club for selling their players to Juve.

My Italian might be poor. But it goes like this

Renzi : "Don't make me swear! Why always at Juve?"
Renzi: "When I was 15 Baggio was sold to them... But damn it's not possible. Fiorentina selling everyone to Juve, can't they sell a player to someone else?"

Then he adds "Give Celata (a journalist) to Juve like that at least they go to Serie B"

The reporter wants to move on "let's talk about serious things now"

Renzi "As if Vlahovic is not a serious subject"

Weird seeing Inter doing Gosens now

I can't bring myself to watch Napoli as, to me, they're one of the most boring teams I've seen, but I'm delighted to hear Lobotka is finally finding his feet over there.

Good translation

Celata is the one interviewing him

Vlahovic is neither Ibrahimovic nor Lewandowski, not yet if you like, but together with Morata acting as a support striker and Dybala in the hole, our attack becomes interesting again. We still need one effective midfielder asap.

Cabral joins Fiorentina. 27 goals so far this season or 0.96 goals/90 mins.

Cabral? on one hand it`s good that they found a replacement for Vlahovic, it means they`ve watched the player for a long time, on the other hand goals in Swiss league and in Serie A is a big difference...

Anyone know when the live fixtures usually get announced? Hoping to get over for the Sampdoria v Genoa game 1st May (capacity restrictions dependent)

Like the look of this Roma team brewing under Jose. Those counter attacks!!

Zaniolo is so talented.

Once he gets going on a run he's absolutely unstoppable. Such a brutally strong guy.

Feels like a throwback player. Probably modelled his playing style on Kaka.

Cristante is absolutely trash. What is he supposed to be good at?

Sergio Oliviera is so much better than him.

Looks like they just had last minute winner ruled out by VAR.

Drawing 0-0 at home to 10 men and bottom 3 Genoa.

And he imploded after the goal was ruled off - instead missing next game now.

He does seem very short tempered. This is not his first red card this season.

Yeah. They should have easily won this one. Genoa didn't even create one proper chance.

Current Serie A doesn't really have many superstars.

Zaniolo is an exciting Italian talent. Ofcourse they're gonna hype him up.

Notice English commentators and media hyping up English talent. It's the same everywhere.

It’s kind of harsh to rule the goal out for an insignificant foul like that.

That will be it for Roma’s top 4 hopes.

He's nowhere near being a Superstar of Serie A

he's kind of like the sancho of italy... the next "great hope" in attack. neither has done anything in their (home) domestic league to prove it.. but the talent is defintely there.

zanioli w/2 brutal injuries that set him back 2-3yrs.

Player's potential doesn't make a player a superstar. He needs to show consistent top class performances to be even considered among the best in the league.
It's like if an English commentary said Mason Mount was a superstar of EPL.

Zaniolo if far from being a Serie A superstar imo. He's still young but last season he never played due to ACL rupture and this season he's been bang average.
Feck, even Pedro is having a better season.
