Be a bit of a cnutish move from them if he doesn't get any minutes.

Out of contract.Good news for Hudson-Odoi, hopefully gets his chance to shine now without the limelight being on Sancho. Sancho is a quality little player though. Anybody know why City let him go?
different players though - do they have any injuries with their wide forwards... might be planning on having him on the bench at least as an optionBit strange seeing as they've already got Alexander Isak on the bench almost every game not getting any minutes.
He didn't want to sign a pro contract as he didn't see a clear path to the first team so has gone to Dortmund for £8m, fair play to him and I really hope it works out but his last few weeks at City where he was upset at not being on the seniors tour with Forden & Diaz so didn't turn up for training for a few weeks doesn't bore well with regard to attitude, imoGood news for Hudson-Odoi, hopefully gets his chance to shine now without the limelight being on Sancho. All the more reason for him to have stayed to help win England their first global trophy at that level....I think Sancho is beyond the U17 level in fairness, it is too easy for him.....
Dortmund have been questionable on this as the player really wanted to stay. That said, even without Sancho, the side is good enough to win the tournament. All the more reason for him to have stayed to help win England their first global trophy at that level....
Probably because it is important for him to settle in quickly at his new club and country, as well as catching up on his fitness. All of which can't be accomplished in India.Big loss, but as said this squad is strong enough to cope, obviously Gomes didn't start the first 2 games so he'll just be the replacement.
Hope he gets some minutes for Dortmund though, as Steve Cooper says if that's not gonna be the case why take a player away from a from WC where he's got the chance to be pivotal in a team winning it and is in great form (even if he is beyond this level).

He got 6 minutes according to whoscored. Where did you get those details from?Made his debut today, 25 mins in the second half and nearly scored the winner
Same with soccerway. He got 6 minutes according to whoscored. Where did you get those details from?
Sorry, looked when eintracht scored and wasn't playing attentionSame with soccerway.
How did he play against Wolfsburg?Starting his second match in a row vs Hertha tonight.
Really looked his age at the beginning, but found his way into the game as it progressed, could've scored a winner if he had a bit more luck. Everything considered it was a very solid match from him - Yarmolenko and Isak got subbed off, while he was allowed to play the full 90 minutes. Given that Yarmolenko is sitting on the bench tonight it's not like he's being played out of desperation, it seems like he earned his spot. How did he play against Wolfsburg?
Well last time, we tried to create a British core, that dint go very well. Evans, Jones, Januzaj, Cleverly, Shaw, Wilson, and few others dint work out. British or Non-british, we should only go for top players or top potential players. If he proves to be a top player in the future we should go for him. We have to try and bag the best British talent.
januzaj is not britishWell last time, we tried to create a British core, that dint go very well. Evans, Jones, Januzaj
Didn't he hate Manchester?I have a feeling he will sign for us at some stage of his career.
Hopefully they drummed it into him at City that United aren't in Manchester.Didn't he hate Manchester?
I’m not a fan of the England talk after two decent - good appearances at senior level! Typical of the English press mind. Not watching the game, is he playing well?
Saw an article on him today about possibly making the England World Cup squad in the summer, may be a bit too soon for him, but being English and an England fan big hopes for Sancho.
What are you on about? Januzaj isn't British. Wilson was never apart of our core nor have any of those players really. Evans was pretty good for us and has been great for West Brom and getting linked to City. Jones is arguably our best CB and Shaw has had horrible injuries but is looking good coming back.Well last time, we tried to create a British core, that dint go very well.
