Judge would open negotiations with £20,000, some luncheon vouchers, and a spares or repair Atari 2600...

What a game he had. Only problem is we don’t need a left winger at all.
Considering how poorly Rashford's done after the restart I wouldn't be against having a little competition on the left.

Phwoooooaaarrrr. Can he play RW? Or even down the middle?
Yes, he played more like an 8/10 the last part of the match.
Pretty sure he plays on the right too.

Can´t see it happening now, but maybe in January.

Yes he can. https://www.transfermarkt.com/jens-petter-hauge/profil/spieler/422355

Let’s get this train rolling. Would love it if we got him this window, or January more realistically. Ole would be mad not to be all over this one. Only problem is all the big clubs are all over this one, so the norwegian link to Ole might not be enough to get him, sadly.

What a fecking performance. Say what you want about the quality of the league he plays in but this was at San Siro against one of the most in-form teams in Europe.

A totally risk free signing for a club like United. If we don't go for him we're bigger fools than I thought we were.

His playmaking skills are really impressive as well. Got so much more to his game than someone like Dan James.

It’s going to take 6 weeks before we talk to his agent. Then agree personal wages. And another 3 months to prepare a bid. Then we will try to negotiate down the fee. Then the news will say we are monitoring his situation. :)

Would cost at least £10m after today imo. Proved himself against a good team. Will be a bidding war for sure when he’s sold.

The Norway national team is shaping up nicely..

How many places in the squad do we actually have available? You can only register so many players above the age of 21 / non home grown can't you?

Probably a big factor in what's holding up deals. The players we have and are paying are going to get a place in the squad as we have to pay them so unless they are sold or go out on loan they're in you'd think.

So does Ole not have his finger on the pulse regarding Norwegian talent? Surely he'd know to make a move for this kid before his price shoots up? You'd also think this is the kind of cheap punt that would please our purse holders, no?

We need to monitor it first
Then we need to take an interest
Then we need to seriously consider it
Then we need to have initial agent discussions
Then we need to consider making a bid

AND THEN

...personal terms agreed!
but fee to be settled...

Then we give a borderline insultingly low offer and rebuffed with the requested figure
Then we refuse to budge on original offer or offer a few pennies more
Then we need to look at other options
Then other teams are interested
Then an entire fortnight has passed by

And after that, who knows?

Everyone thought Ole was nuts when he opted against signing Sander Berge and he's flattered to deceive at Sheffield United. If there's a low profile young Norwegian out there who is good enough, then Ole will snap him up.

Jens Petter Hauge is a right-footed winger who can play on both the wings and is highly talented. His adept dribbling ability helps him to get past defenders or he can run behind defenses to create space and receive the ball in dangerous areas.
