Managers don't always get it right. Both Pep and Klopp had to bring in new keepers after the keepers they'd bought didn't work out. Fergie spent years looking for a proper keeper and a midfield partner for Scholes etc. etc.

Honestly, is it your money that utd is spending? It's amazing to me that fans want the team to spend less on players so the mgmt can have more.

Unless you're more of a Mourinho fan than a United fan (which you have the total right to be), you would value the club over the managers (who are bound to come and go) and over players. Nah, the position we were stuck in when Mourinho left was far more dire than it is now. We've had to replace several of his extremely expensive failures in order to bring the club forward, it takes time to sort out his mess

We did finish sixth the previous year due to basically giving up on the league to concentrate on the europa and it’s champions league place and we benefited reversely to that the following year with others concentrating on Europe.
Bollocks. The second season we finished 2nd because we deserved to. We were 2nd the entire season for a reason. To say we finished 2nd because other teams were concentrating on Europa is bollocks especially considering we were also playing in the Champions League.
