He would be terrible in that position. He will be worse than anyone in the side. He doesn't only lose 50/50 he loses 60/40 chances too. He can't hold the ball and keep possession. He gets tackled and loses the ball.
Pirlo doesn't lose the ball. He keeps possession very well. Mata can't. Pirlo is a lot quicker than Mata too.
Most of the games now he is useless.
