He'll have to learn quickly. But yeah, he will get another season and a couple of players in summer for it.Silly move.
What's your verdict thus far generally? Can he grow quickly into the seat?
Hoping PsG knocks out City or Pool in the semis. Oh wait
Two questions: What does he need in terms of recruitment and do you think the players have bought into his methods and character? He'll have to learn quickly. But yeah, he will get another season and a couple of players in summer for it.
Less players though than if he had managed to progress over fecking Villareal, as that money will be missed dearly.
I love the attacking spirit but I can't help but notice that we're getting worse as the season progresses, with his attacking approach and playing style by now basically being to throw shit at the wall for 90 minutes and see what sticks. Rather annoying. He will have to adapt his 'philosophy', else he won't win anything of note. Let's see if he can adapt, and coach the adaptation.
He was lucky v us last season. Ole’s United put 7 past him and only through a shit result for us in Turkey made them go out.Subbing off Hernandez in minute 86 might be the worst sub in the history of the CL knockout stages. Nagelsmann's tactical immaturity is staggering. For all his immense qualities, the kid is also a fecking idiot.
Poch is literally the Proto-Hipster manager. Go take your keyboard for a shit. The hipster choice fails again this season. First ETH with Benfica and now Nagelsmann with Villarreal. What is more incredible is that these hipster managers lost to teams that were inferior to them.
If hipster manager means being considered a top manager despite winning nothing of note, then Pochettino is unironically the first name I think of.Poch is literally the Proto-Hipster manager. Go take your keyboard for a shit.
The shit result in Turkey could still be redeemed if we got a result against Leipzig in the last group stage game but we didn't so putting 7 past them meant nothing in the end.He was lucky v us last season. Ole’s United put 7 past him and only through a shit result for us in Turkey made them go out.
I don’t think he’s actually all that.

Yet if the non hipster choice failed the way they did, there would be countless threads and meme on the internet. Nagelsmann loosing to Villarreal is an embarrassment even more so than Ole lost in the final as bayern had two legs to try and defeat them. Nagelsmann should be on thin ice if he doesn't improve bayern significantly next season. This wasn't even their worse defeat of the season. I recalled bayern loosing 5-0 to mochgladbach in the cup. So, I don't understand what Nagelsmann is doing over there and I can't really say much as I don't watch bayern often
Give it a rest. It's about actual managers, not clowns feigning to be one.He was lucky v us last season. Ole’s United put 7 past him and only through a shit result for us in Turkey made them go out.

I thought absolutely the same. Why such a change 4 minutes before the end, which lead to complete change of system.Subbing off Hernandez in minute 86 might be the worst sub in the history of the CL knockout stages. Nagelsmann's tactical immaturity is staggering. For all his immense qualities, the kid is also a fecking idiot.
He's one of the best. Surprisingly, not the hipster's choice despite showing everything else and more than some of the cult hero managers have. He was hard done during his final season by some bad luck with injuries, otherwise, Bayern, under him, played some of the most complete football I've ever seen. The team footballing aspect of Flick to Naglesmann seems a major difference. Bayern come across as very ordinary in their performances. I think Hansi Flick was for periods the best manager around. Some of the football he produced eclipsed the showings of the likes of City and Liverpool, best attacking play I've witnessed since Peps Barcelona team.
Think the club will require patience for whatever vision Naglesmann has. He is certainly a very promising manager but I think the reality is that Flick had the team performing levels above that the transition has been difficult.
Why did flick leave? Surely it wasn't just to manage the NT? He is still relatively young. The team footballing aspect of Flick to Naglesmann seems a major difference. Think it was just his desire to manage Germany - crazy really, but looking at his stats at Bayern is quote crazy :Why did flick leave? Surely it wasn't just to manage the NT? He is still relatively young.
He had his best time as assisstant manager of the NT (including the WC win 2014), so it makes sense for him to want that job. And he quite publicly clashed with their doF Salihamidzic. Why did flick leave? Surely it wasn't just to manage the NT? He is still relatively young.
Very unlikely, at least as long as Salihamidzic has something to decide.Surely the job is his whenever he wants to get back to club football?
Thank god Fergie never lost a CL game against weaker teamsThe hipster choice fails again this season. First ETH with Benfica and now Nagelsmann with Villarreal. What is more incredible is that these hipster managers lost to teams that were inferior to them.
What does it say about the actual manager if a clown managed to beat him?Give it a rest. It's about actual managers, not clowns feigning to be one.

Never happened to Fergie…The hipster choice fails again this season. First ETH with Benfica and now Nagelsmann with Villarreal. What is more incredible is that these hipster managers lost to teams that were inferior to them.
His only faults are that he supposedly pushed Flick out of the club and that he really struggles to formulate coherent sentences. So who knows why people jump at the chance to blame him.Whats the deal with hasan salihadmidzic ? My bayern friends just go on tirades about the guy.
He needs time, coaching a team like Bayern isn't like coaching Leipzig, it's almost a different job but... he really needs to shut up (Salihamidzic as well).
This whole "We Bayern, we strong, we make no prisonners" act is funny and it flies when they win or put up a great fight but boy does it look ridiculous when you get eliminated by a far inferior team. He'll carry his statement before the game for a while.
Yet another example of how working 'miracles' with a lesser budget doesn't always translate to blowing the world away on bigger funds (as we keep hearing how scary Klopp would be with a blank cheque). He needs time, coaching a team like Bayern isn't like coaching Leipzig, it's almost a different job but... he really needs to shut up
You can’t really compare the two at all though weird point to make.Yet another example of how working 'miracles' with a lesser budget doesn't always translate to blowing the world away on bigger funds (as we keep hearing how scary Klopp would be with a blank cheque).

Does Poch pay you to go around trashing other managers on online forums? You've taken this Poch Defence League stuff to a really weird place man.It is crazy how some of the top hipster choice managers failed so badly this year, yet there is little blowback to that. Good to know, I though he was at fault for all their woes they way they go on about him.His only faults are that he supposedly pushed Flick out of the club and that he really struggles to formulate coherent sentences. So who knows why people jump at the chance to blame him.
That's just Bayern's default stance. The press would be hounding them for turning the club soft if they didn't talk like that. The more interesting question is why they think it's a good idea to have Brazzo represent their club to the public.
