Considered by whom? I'm pretty sure finishing in Ballon d'Or's top 10 every year since 2017 is indicative of being considered a top european player.

I think that's an unfair measuring stick. For a good tournament run the stars need to align and it didn't happen for Messi and Cristiano at that point in time. Cristiano for instance played an EC final in 2004 although he was still far away from his prime. You could argue that Mbappe was a better player than those two at 17 and 18 but development isn't linear and for what it's worth, his improvement curve wasn't as steep as theirs. Especially Messi exploded at 19/20 in a way Mbappe never did. At the end of the season he turned 26 (this season for Mbappe), Messi had already won four Ballon D'Ors and had already played his 91 goals and 28 assists calendar year. Mbappe really is nowhere near, unfortunately.
Neither played for a stacked favorites team like MBappe did.
Not that I think they were better teams but Argentina was 2nd favorite according to odds before the tournaments in 2006 and 2014 (this specific year probably mainly due to Messi to be fair) from what I can gather. France was 4th in 2018.
Nobody has said that Mbappé is anywhere near the level of Messi at the same age anyway, I think the poster you are quoting is just highlighting how singling out a competition's performances can make for a very biased argument.

Luis Enrique rotates his lineups heavily, but from the top of my head I'd say he's been starting more games from the center, often drifting to the left. Animation depends on who he is playing with: with Kolo Muani, they'd swith positions quite often between LW and CF, while Barcola would very rarely move from LW as he's very active defensively.
I'd assume a Vinicius / Mbappé partnership would see them switch positions quite often.

We have left other positions unattended because of this obsession. We are literally playing without a striker and lucked out Jude is making things happen up front. Not to mention we already have Vini who at this point I’d argue is just as good. Different story if we didn’t have him. And on top of all that: I see it likely this going not as expected.

Mbappe is nowhere near Messi. Even if he breaks World Cup records, he simply doesn't possess the natural talent Messi has.
However, if he does go to Real and has similar levels of production as he did at PSG(and continues his CL excellence). And he also continues his current World Cup trajectory, you can argue for him over Ronaldo.
The disrespect people have for Ronaldo is unbelievable, people come out saying how Messi and Ronaldo isn't close, is just fooling themselves. I don't like Ronaldo, never did since he left us the first time, but he is one of the best ever and he proved it at multiple clubs in multiple leagues and internationally. Messi is great as well, I'm not going to argue about whos best etc, it's done to death and people are entitled to their opinions, but the two are brilliant. Messi I would agree is definitely the more naturally gifted and Ronaldo is more athletic along side god gifted talent.
Mbappe still has a million miles to go to reach Messi or Ronaldo and IMO he doesn't look good enough or consistent enough for it. I'm not even sure he'll be the best of his generation let alone be talked about up with the Ronaldo's and Messi's of the world
I chose "Saga" because the topic comes up every summer. He could just commit to PSG or say he's leaving. But he's been vague about it for years, keeping his options open to extract the maximum money from PSG. They are letting it happen to themselves as he is bigger in France than the club.
