Don't talk shite about Arse trophyless
Emirates still have these
Emirates still have these
The new 10 year plan starts this summer. Why did the 10 year plan start in 2006 when Abramovich came in 2003 and the Arabs in 2008?
Who's the big fecker on the left? Can they not start him instead of those dopey centre halves they have at the minute?
Mannone the GK I think.Who's the big fecker on the left? Can they not start him instead of those dopey centre halves they have at the minute?
I meant the green one!Mannone the GK I think.
Mea Culpa.I meant the green one!
How many penalties is it now? You've been so fecking lucky it's untrue, starting right back at Nevilles's clean out of Brunt back in October.
Picture
You're.1) correct
2) you've had the rub of the green (Evra pen on Ramires recently).
3) Your'e top performers are very good you've got a lot of dead wood though
4) We've fecked it -we've been the better footballing team but you need to manage games as well.
5) 10-year plan is in year 5.
I really don't know where to start with this. It's just a wow post.Arsenal win so few trophies that they have the comfortability of posting their success around the ground, so the fans are reminded, that even though the this team is shit, they won the FA Cup in 1998 and the League in 2002 etc,...
The pictures don't show all the trophies, is the Emirates Cup on there?
YourYou're.
Quick, let's all enroll in Pete's "The art of making shitty, biased claims with a straight face." Limited offer, on invitational basis only.1) correct

Its in year 6 isn't it Pete? Why are you using 2006 as your marker, seeing as the last time you won anything was actually in 2005?1) correct

2006 was the watershed for me, last year at Highbury n'all that. Its in year 6 isn't it Pete? Why are you using 2006 as your marker, seeing as the last time you won anything was actually in 2005?
But it's literally the same thing we hear every year. They just need a goalkeeper, and another defender, and a striker. Or is it a defensive mid. Or a winger. Whatever it is, Wenger always comes up a couple of players short. Or, the difference between a very good coach and a great one.As for everyone laughing at Arsenal, again they were just one or two players short. If Wenger stops being stubborn in the transfer market over the summer, they could very well have enough next year.
Is PeterStorey sitting in the north of the capital singing 'Don't Stop Believin' ?
Its not as simple as that though, is it? What's to say that Wenger didn't ask for one or two big names, only for the board to refuse it on the grounds of wages or the transfer fee being deemed too large? If this is indeed the case, this might be why the Arsenal board seem to be very understanding of the draught the club's going through. But it's literally the same thing we hear every year. Our net spend according to our accounts is around £50m, thats after such a huge fee for Ronaldo. They've actually made a profit in the transfer market, I think it'd be a fairer comparison, when they sell Fabregas.I seriously doubt that our net spending dwarfs Arsenal's over the period of the last five seasons seeing as it's around zero. Hernandez, Smalling, Valencia, Nani, Vidic, Evra, Carrick cost a total of £80m and we got £80m for Ronaldo. Then we have the likes of Anderson, Hargreaves and Berbatov who also cost significant amounts of money (a total of over £60m) but we sold Smith, Heinze, Richardson, Rossi, Pique, van Nistelrooy, Shawcross, Bardsley and got around £50m for them. I am sure I forgot about some players but our net spending has been very insignificant during that period.
It possibly would be a fairer comparison, but where would that leave Arsenal once Fabregas has gone? Our net spend according to our accounts is around £50m, thats after such a huge fee for Ronaldo. World of Warcraft?I really don't know where to start with this. It's just a wow post.
Is that £10m for Tevez what we spent on his wages? If so it's surely unfair to include it in a net spend transfer list.2006:
Bought Carrick at £18.6m, sold Ebanks Blake at £0.2m, Spector at £0.5m and van Nistelrooy at £10m. Net spending of £7.9m.
2007:
Bought Hargreaves at £17m, Anderson at £17m, Nani at £14m and loaned Tevez for two seasons at £10m, also completed Kuszczak signing at £2m. Sold Howard for £3m, Richardson for £5m, Rossi for £7m, Smith for £6m, Heinze for £8m, Jones for £1m. Net spending of £30m.
2008:
Bought Berbatov for £31m and da Silvas for £2.5m each, sold Pique for £6m, Eagles for £1.5m, Bardsley for £2m and Shawcross for £2m. Net spending of £24.5m.
2009:
Bought Tosic fo £6m, Valencia for £16m and Obertan for £3m. Sold Ronaldo for £80m and Campbell for £5m. Net earning of £60m.
2010:
Bought Hernandez for £7m, Bebe for £7m and Smalling for £10m. Sold Foster for £6m and Tosic for £10m. Net spending of £8m.
Adds up to a net spending of £10.4m.
We were supposed to be paying £5m a year to have him, plus cover his wages , though the official fee wasn't announced. Is that £10m for Tevez what we spent on his wages? If so it's surely unfair to include it in a net spend transfer list.
According to our accounts, the net spend is around the £50m mark, even Andersred has confirmed as much. Some of your fees are off as they were higher than what the media reported, eg Anderson cost 30m euros, which was £20m at the time, Porto has released these details to the stock exchange. Nani was also £14m rising to 17m, Hargreaves 17m rising to £20m.2006:
