Amrabat and McTominay have been absolutely dire. I don't think I've come across a worse midfielder to start this big a game for us than Amrabat - he's honestly so shite. Can't turn, just runs like he's finished an eating contest and is insanely braindead with his discipline.

Surely Hannibal would be better than him.

That's 45 minutes of my life I'll never get back.

Not sure who's worse - Mctominay breaking down every bit of football being played through him, or Szoboszlai constantly passing it out of play or into no one.

Amrabat and Mctominay are poor excuse for midfielders.

Saying that we’ve done far better than any of us expected. The worry is that Liverpool have been very poor and if the step it up we might fold.

Amrabat and Onana are just terrible signings. They seem to struggle with even the basics of their respective roles.

The 45min version of the rondo training clip.

Back 4 have been good though and there's no lack of effort.

Still 0-0 but feels like it be a case of when not if. Feels like the Newcastle game

The right side (Antony + Dalot) is dreadful. Amrabat looks like he's running through mud. McTominay loses the ball every time he gets it. Hojlund I forgot was even playing. The rest are doing ok.

If ETH wants to wins, please take off McTominay. Completely useless player, can’t pass, poor control, can’t create, can’t press, what the hell does he do except breaking down every attack. This manager of ours qualifies to be a coach? Really?

Hojlund has been about as much use as Christina Aguilera in that advert. Just there but not doing anything.

You'd have to imagine Liverpool won't play that bad again in the second half.

My worry is that we don't have any other levels in us. That midfield is just relegation level and we can't string a single move of passes together.

Still aren’t going to win this one and pretty sure Liverpool will get the break through eventually. However, 0-0 at HT is positive for us, we’ve defended pretty well up to this point. The play on the ball in comparison is lacklustre, poor touches, poor passes, poor decision making all around and that will be our undoing.

The performance of Scott Mctominay in this first half is up there with the worst individual performances of a utd player I've seen in recent times

He has completed 1 pass, killed pretty much all of our 5 attacking plays and is hiding. Zero tackles, zero interceptions and fewer touches than any other player on the pitch.

Yet he has the armband and will prob score for us
Has completed 8, made 1 tackles, 2 clearances, 2 dribbles, won 3 aerials and has had 26 touches, only Shaw and Varane with more. Criticize him, but don't flat out lie.

Very happy with 0-0 at HT.
I oddly enjoyed that, I’ve been thinking we were gonna be absolutely mauled. As bad as we look, Liverpool haven’t exactly been awesome either. You could argue we have at least an excuse for this , whats pools?

I’d say Klopp is gonna rip the hole off his team and they will go full blood and guts at start of second half. If we can weather first 15 mins we may grow into the game.

Says everything about the state of the Premier League that this Liverpool side will be top of the table tonight.

Awful game of football. Amrabat with lead in his boots McTominay giving it away as much as possible but nil nil means a point so I’m happy.

As a team going forward we are quite possibly the worst I have ever seen. Miss Bruno big time but at least we haven’t had to seen him moaning every two minutes.

On the one occasion we strung a few passes together, McSuperman trips over his own feet and we were immediately under pressure from another Liverpool attack.

Liverpool should be ashamed of themselves. We were shitting ourselves under no pressure at all there and still couldn’t get int the final third
Precisely. Liverpool have been woeful and showing no composure. Salah has been a passenger and when you have a donkey up front they become predictable. Hopefully it continues the same in the second half.

Fully expecting ten Hag to say Utd played well in the first half. If so he deserves the sack. Liverpool have been poor by their standards but still a different class from us. Perhaps if we stopped passing to red shirts we would relieve some of the pressure, but that won’t happen with this team.

Hate to say it but I think Rashford could make a difference if he comes on. Need that player who’ll run with the ball and do something out of nothing. Garnacho is just getting bullied with physicality.
