    He'll deffo start with this

    Henderson

    AWB Lindelof Maguire Shaw

    Mctominay Fred

    Greenwood Bruno James
    Martial

Team pretty much picks itself with our current injuries. I wish Rashford was available at least.

    Henderson
    Bissaka - Bailly/Lindelof - Maguire - Shaw
    Fred - Mctominay
    Bruno
    Greenwood - Martial - James

What's the point when Ole will play Bruno for 90 minutes in the return leg anyway?
Leaving Bruno aside, I'm hopeful he'll rest at least some players for the return leg if we have a safety net. Knowing Ole, I'll take it! Frustrating how he has to start some players though.

Yep, pretty much our only strongest starting lineup available just now.

Think I'd prefer Lindelof against Milan if it let's Bailly face west ham. Antonio would abuse Lindelof

    Henderson
    AWB - Bailly - Maguire - Telles
    Fred - Matic
    Greenwood - Bruno - James
    Martial

Subs: Van de Beek - Diallo - Shoretire

    MUFC 3-0 AC Milan

    Bruno (pen), Martial, Greenwood

We capitalize on speed, put them away in the first half, and hold for 45 minutes.

AC Milan have lost only one away match in all competitions this season. In the Serie A this season they have the best away record in the league with 34 points from 13 games the next best is neighbours and league leaders Inter with 26 points.

They will be confident with that away form plus knowing United have been less than impressive at home this season which includes a draw and defeat in the last two Old Trafford games in Europe.

I was quietly confident until I read this.

Half of our ideal Starting XI: Theo Hernandez, Bennacer, Rebic, Calhanoglu and Ibrahimovic (+ Mandzukic) won't even travel to Manchester

Well, it was fun while it lasted..

Did not know you guys had TWO! Donnarummas. And both GKs at that.

Yeah, in 2017 Milan had problems on Gigio's contract renewal so we had to sign Gigio's older brother Antonio Donnarumma just to appease Raiola.

Hope we won't have to pay this kind of "tax" also this season..

West Ham are shorter odds to win at old Trafford than AC Milan. That statement just hurts my brain

Both teams injury riddled, but Milan maybe more so. Anything less than a clear 2 goal winning margin here wouldn’t be great heading back to Milan.

Those domestic stats does not seem to count for much when if comes to international matches. United lost away from home, and Liverpool won tonight..

Why do they have two different Donnarummas as GKs?

    7 PM CET???
nooooooooo, I am at work! Oh well, I will quit then.
You know you are in the Europa league when the match starts at 6 o'clock... Bit sad really, like two former giants, this should be a massive champions league clash, but instead here we both are in the Europa in a not too interesting match for neutral supporters

Know this competition can divide opinion amongst our fanbase, however it's worth considering that winning this means you go into pot 1 for the main Champions League draw.

Chuffed Ibra's not going to be playing. He's a guy whose chance of scoring against 'your team' seems directly proportional to how much press he gets before the match. And there would have been some press all right.

Antonio is his older bro and he's only there cause of him.
Back in 2017 when Gianluigi was negotiating for a new deal one of the clauses was for Milan to sign his older brother - and give him 1mil per year salary. Before that he played for some 3rd rate greek club

Do their teammates call them Michael and Fredo?

In order for that to be meaningful, we need to win the competition AND finish 2nd in the league or we will get pot 1 but no TV money from the UCL group stages that are related to league positions.

Why? Injuries? Thats a serious list of missing players, does that mean you’re playing your 2nd team?

I wonder is that defender a relation to Romelu

We should be resting Shaw and playing Telles tonight.

Shaw needs a rest and looked close to breaking down against City a few times. I'm sure we'll rotate tonight a little ahead of West Ham on the weekend.

Milan don't really have pace that Telles would be worried about either.

Can’t be the only one who presumed we were in the late slot for the home tie. 17:55 it is!

I think we go for this competition.
Title is unlikely and Top 4 is pretty secure.

Will go for a 3-1 win, we usually don't make it easy on ourselves but we are a better team than Milan.

(Still have nighmares from that Kaka game though!)
