Lingard is a tidy/reliable player, always has been. he'll give you a higher bottom level than Memphis any day but the whole point of players like Memphis or Nani for that matter is that their top level is higher than players like Lingard.

Have to even if it's not mindblowing..

They were very organized in defence in the first game, letting us have all the possession as they tried to counter. They did get tired towards the end of the game, though. I can see us getting a few chances end of game. Like many of our games lately, really. I think we'll win regardless of when we score. Just wish we could come out firing straight away, winning it in the first half for a change.

If we win i'm expecting Smalling to be MOTM.

This team is the best in Russia. Apparently they are unbeaten in their league for 20+ games or something.

2. feck your standards must be low. Lingard has been below average, certainly hasn't set the world alight. We haven't scored since he has been starting. This is exactly the sort of game to get Memphis his confidence back as well.

Yes, my standards are pretty low. I would have loved Memphis to continue with some of his fantastic perfomances this season rather than give someone else a chance, Who cares about effort anyway, its all about the big name stars.
