I do think they stand a chance of winning this game.

    (The United players, that is.)

It's not just Dalot, a lot of our team seem to switch off at varying times and it often costs us dearly, lack of concentration and awareness seems to be endemic in this team
I can't argue with that, but he stands out to me over most. And it was sure a huge problem (especially lack of hustling back) in his 1st year here.

    ................Onana
    AWB Maguire Lindelof Reguilon
    ------Hannibal Eriksen
    Pellistri Bruno Garnacho
    ------------Hojlund

    Would like to see

    -----------------Bayndir
    AWB Maguire Lindelof Reguilon
    Pellistri Hannibal Bruno Garnacho
    ----------Hojlund Martial

Varane - After that shitshow needs to get his head straight
Onana- Honestly would like to see Bayndir, but will never happen
Eriksen - No problems with either McTominay or Mainoo
Rashford will obviously play considering he's now suspended in the champion's league.

What I want to know is how did the original poster know what it meant, must have some iffy reading material!
He meant to say "sacked." He got the A and the C mixed up.

Funny though in this testing season.

Why not hustle when you are 19? Sorry, I'll never get that. Just my opinion mate. He does not play with enough urgency for me at times. I thought he did very well last year.
I'm not disagreeing ovrerall but he came from Portugal to the PL after playing what was it, 3 or 4 games at senior level

They seemed to be trying to play a ridiculous offside along the six yard line last night but that's no excuse!

Hear ya mate. I am not giving up on him, as you said earlier the whole squad need to play with much more urgency. Like Shaw needed a kick in the arse a couple years ago with competition, Dalot may need a break to reset.

He'll stick to the same lineup with Varane coming in for Evans. We looked the best we have done all season in the first 30 minutes so I'd be happy with it, and we have a fairly strong bench as well.

    Onana
    AWB Varane Maguire Dalot
    McT Eriksen
    Rashford Bruno Garnacho
    Hojlund

I'd put Reguilon in for Dalot.

This team is literally incapable of controlling a game or winning a game comfortably. So as ever last minute winner or disastrous loss

I've gone 0-2 for this one. I have no faith left. I expect to see something like:

    ------------------Onana
    AWB, Lindelof, Maguire, Dalot
    ----------McTom Eriksen
    -----Antony Bruno Rashford
    ----------------Hojlund

With Hojlund being removed for Martial if he dares to score or look threatening, Eriksen for mount for reasons and Rashford, Bruno, McTom to stay on no matter what happens or how they play.

What I'd like to see is players being rotated out based on form and something different being tried.

    ---------------Onana
    Dalot Varane Lindelof Reguilon
    -------Amrabat Hannibal
    Pellestri Bruno Garnacho
    --------------Hojlund

I don't know a single Luton player nor have I watched one of their games.
They looked shite at the start but recently churned out some very capable performances. Should have beaten Liverpool really.

We have to win this. Luton are indeed beginning to get a grip of the Premiership, but this is, on paper, our easiest game at home?

I think Rasmus will play well. He's a unit.. just get the ball forward, and into him quickly, early crosses, early penetrating passes.. consistently. Rashford has to get some goals soon...

(..if, if we lose...doesn't bear thinking about)

We will run around a lot and make them look a lot better than they are, but we will beat them. That will just barely patch things up for the time being.

As a side note, I’ve grown to appreciate international football in the last half a year.

I think i might be adjusting to the level we are at this season. I fully expect VAR to correct some 50 50 to give us a soft red or give them a supersoft penalty for a ball touching a hand from a shot from 1m out.
I fully expect a couple of mysterious actions in our own half giving them good chances to score.
I fully expect someone who normally score 1 goal a year to score an unlikely screamer against us.
But maybe we can finish on top, if Höjlund can keep his momentum maybe he can score a brace

Honestly we have to win very convincing otherwise I'll probably consider it another dent in my trust in ten Hag. A nervy win would be so disheartening. We need a 5 - 0 or even more with some proper good football. A late 1 - 0 wouldn't even bring the spirit up.

Really hope we don't see Dalot or Varane in the side. Would be nice to see Facu too, but think it might be worth seeing how Rashford does over on the right following on from Wednesday.

Would be really great to see Mainoo feature too. I cant imagine he'll start, but an appearance from the bench would be great.

I'd put Reguilon in for Dalot.
Me too, having a natural LB who can whip in crosses with his left is needed in this team. We have zero threat from wide areas in relation to crossing. It’s what Shaw brings to the team so well and we’re hugely missing it.

I can see him persisting with Dalot though as he is going to be forced into 1 defensive change with Evans being out, so I don’t expect him to want to change 50% of his defence.
