I think Rojo has a better chance of starting than Zlatan but my bet remains that he will come off the bench in the 2nd half when we are up by 3 goals!!!

I agree with this. Zlatan dropping deep while Lukaku runs in behind could work well.More excited about Zlatan being back tbh. I think he'll surprise everyone at 10. So long as he has runners either side of him.
it will be a big weakening of their strengths if either martial or rashford starts on the rightDon't really care how we line-up as long as Rashford and Martial BOTH starts.
What's wrong with the way Jose has handled Raahford and Martial? I thought has handled them pretty well so far.It was a thing on the Caf just a few weeks ago to justify Jose's handling of martial and rashford
That’s definitely one of the factors to consider.Who's our impact off the bench against tired legs?
...and Zlatan being Zlatan, who'd bet against him to score on his comeback?More excited about Zlatan being back tbh. I think he'll surprise everyone at 10. So long as he has runners either side of him.
Personally think the reason is more that our midfield and Mkhi have been shit. Playing two wide attacking forwards when you have no control in the middle is daft. That’s definitely one of the factors to consider.
All else being equal, I think “play your best players in the right system” factor simply outweighs the “impact sub” factor. Simple example, MSN/BBC.
I think Jose’s reluctance to play them both is mainly because of none of them are suited on the right, rather than the “impact sub” factor.
Could be it. I hope you are right simply because I want to see them both in our strongest XI IMO.Personally think the reason is more that our midfield and Mkhi have been shit. Playing two wide attacking forwards when you have no control in the middle is daft.
Pogba's return may allow us to go 3 in midfield and unleash them both.
At the very least he will be better than Mkhi there IMO, doesnt matter if they are not the same players.I agree with this. Zlatan dropping deep while Lukaku runs in behind could work well.
Zlatan tended to drop deep a lot even when he was playing as our no.9 so you'd think that role would suit him very wellI agree with this. Zlatan dropping deep while Lukaku runs in behind could work well.
I dont see Rojo starting, I have him on the bench with Ibra.-------------de Gea
Valencia---Bailly---Rojo---Young
----------Matic---Pogba
---Lingard---Fellaini--Rashford
-------------Lukaku
Zlatan to replace Fellaini, Martial on for Rashford at some point, Mkhitaryan/Mata for Lingard.
And you have every right to think that way but some (like me) would prefer if martial is given a regular starting berth down the left and/or have both play on the same team with rashford on the rightWhat's wrong with the way Jose has handled Raahford and Martial? I thought has handled them pretty well so far.
Another factor to take into consideration:That’s definitely one of the factors to consider.

I am not undermining the impact sub factor. Fergie did it with Solskjaer/etc...
I think Jose’s reluctance to play them both is mainly because of none of them are suited on the right, rather than the “impact sub” factor. He is having dilemma now, as evidenced by alternating them in the starting XI.
Yeah will most probably be Smalling and Bailly.I dont see Rojo starting, I have him on the bench with Ibra.
I think Pogba will start, he was ready before the break, the other 2 from the bench,Wouldn't be surprised to see Herrera and Mkhitaryan left out of the starting team today, but not sure how much the returning trio of Pogba, Ibrahimovic and Rojo will play, if any - Pogba off the bench maybe, the other two I don't know.
That’s great -enjoy!On the way to the match atm, looking forward to it. Hope to see Pogba and Zlatan get some time.
Try to get the Tony Martial song going as early as possible so Jose will get the hint.On the way to the match atm, looking forward to it. Hope to see Pogba and Zlatan get some time.
I too am excited mostly about Zlatan.More excited about Zlatan being back tbh. I think he'll surprise everyone at 10. So long as he has runners either side of him.
Man really not sure about these tweets, specially about rojo starting . Many times they are misleading.
You were getting sexually aroused, at the thought of players returning from injury and you made a video of it, posted it and the mods removed it?A big shout out to the mods who do a great job. I had posted a video that I thought expressed how I was setting up for the game. Getting a little worked up seeing the returning players. In retrospect that was of zero value to the thread and forum. Sorry about that guys. Go United.
Also hoping that to be the case despite me not really liking it(rotation policy). I might not like it but at least it guarantees some game times for Martial in the league, the competition that matters the most.I know it broke then but was hoping it was a glitch rather than something permanent. So is it now confirmed that rashford is the favorite for the league?
I would truly hate that as I just came to terms with the rotation policy with the hopes that martial will be able to play his way into more regular starting berths.
How are we to know if he's any good in the league if he isn't given the chance to prove himself there?
Well if José doesn't start Martial it would mean that the rotation policy people have used to justify the handling of those 2 would prove to be false and it'll only further prove claims that Rashford is the preferred player for important games(league) while Martial is a cup player. And that of course would really be unfair to Martial. What's wrong with the way Jose has handled Raahford and Martial? I thought has handled them pretty well so far.
Martial started vs Liverpool.Well if José doesn't start Martial it would mean that the rotation policy people have used to justify the handling of those 2 would prove to be false and it'll only further prove claims that Rashford is the preferred player for important games(league) while Martial is a cup player. Martial started vs Liverpool , but did nothing that day. Both are getting fair chances.Well if José doesn't start Martial it would mean that the rotation policy people have used to justify the handling of those 2 would prove to be false and it'll only further prove claims that Rashford is the preferred player for important games(league) while Martial is a cup player. That one starts over the other does not necessarily mean the one who starts is the favourite. It might just be a strategy thing and according to Jose, the type of game and opponent faced. I think people just read a whole lot of meanings into the rotation thing. Moreover if the manager does indeed see Rashford as a 'favourite', it wouldn't be unusual in football. The important thing is that he gives the other player a fair chance and so far, Martial has had that. And you have every right to think that way but some (like me) would prefer if martial is given a regular starting berth down the left and/or have both play on the same team with rashford on the right
I'm not here to debate whether what Jose is doing is right or wrong as we've done that plenty of times in their respective threads so I'm just stating my PoV
Lastly, I've come to terms with both of them being rotated but if rashford is the clear favorite for the league then I wouldn't like it one bit but there's nothing I can do about it but to state my opinion on the forum.
