bit wary of this one - we're not looking too steady and they have a knack of putting the occasional one over us

I'm expecting us to win pretty comfortably but expect to conceed.

I'll go for 4-1. Hernandez to grab a brace.

We've actually got a really tough period coming up because we didn't manage to beat Basel.

Liverpool away on the Saturday
Away in Romania for what is now a must win game on the Wednesday
Home to City on the Sunday

We need to beat Norwich and I think we will. We have enough quality to see them off. I just hope Hernandez is fit to play with Welbeck.

That stretch would be tough irregardless of that result.

True but we've now lost the opportunity to give 1 or 2 a rest for the Champions League game.

We really should be battering them. I realise we struggled against Basel and Stoke but I'd be disappointed if we didn't knock a fair few past them - in terms of quality we're streets ahead.

Actually I think Danny may just edge Hernandez for the starting place.

Anywhere but Liverpool
Perhaps we'll see a few surprises for Norwich.

---------------De Gea--------------
Jones---Ferdinand---Evans---Evra
Valencia--Carrick--Fletcher--Young
-----------Owen-----Berba---------

I'd like to see Berba and Owen involved heavily, especially Berba. I feel they need a string of games to get match fit and be ready to step in when Rooney, Hernandez and Welbeck are rested/injured. In my opinion we almost have the "1999 4 firing forwards recipe" except we only have 3 forwards in form. If Berba or Owen (he's looking closest) can step up, and SAF plays them a bit more, we'll have quite the strike force again.

Hopefully De Gea continues in goal. He needs all the practice he can get on the English game. We'll have a gem once he can manage crosses better. His up close shot stopping, footwork and distribution are already excellent.

One of Nani/Young could be rested to give Valencia a run on the wing?

Would also like to see Fletch get a run.
