Hardest decision for me is the midfield... I think McTominay should play as he's banned for Newcastle, but I'd also like continuity for Casemiro and a start for Fred to keep him sharper. However, I wouldn't want to start all three of them even against this lot

Might as well try and win without Rashford as he's probably our most in-form forward and he's nailed on to start against Newcastle.

Hopefully, we can finally start a game fast and put it to bed in the first half. That's probably my main criticism under Ten Hag so far, when we've actually played really well, we never fully finished a team off relatively early in the match yet. If we can do that, we can make a sub at half time and then the other 3-4 pretty early on in the second.

Fred, Malacia, Garnacho, Elanga, Zidane etc to come hopefully. Take off Casemiro, Shaw/Dalot, Ronaldo, Bruno, Antony for the weekend.

Yeah but it’s not just about fitness. It’s about keeping the squad happy and the mood between the keeping department. Of course de gea could play every game…but if he gets injured…if he has a dip in form…you need back up. This game is perfect for giving the new guy some experience in front of an old Trafford crowd. Not like he is a kid.
