Manchester United vs Perth Glory (Sat 13th July, 12:00 UK time)

Lovely flick from Pogba and top finish.

Rashford tries just a few too many flicks and tricks. It's like he's too conscious of his own technical ability so feels he needs to use the most ace thing he has in his locker in every situation. He can and probably will be such a fantastic player, would just like to see him be a bit more pragmatic.

Yeah Gomes and Greenwood seem to be bigger talents than Chong all honestly.

I tell you what, Greenwood and Gomes need to see plenty of minutes this season.

Chong - i'm less convinced. Maybe a loan is best for him?

Think Chong is more nervous, he needs regular minutes to build confidence with less expectations of him. A loan would be great.

Gomes and Greenwood are ready

Why do I get this feeling that everytime the ball goes back to Rojo as the last defender that he's going to slip and give away a breakaway? Amazing how many of our players keep falling yet none of their are...

Haven't been able to watch the game but sounds like a positive pre season game from the tone of the thread. Nice to see some moderate positivity for the first time in months.
