In a battle vs two pressing teams, the team with more athleticism and technical ability will win. Sadly that's what is happening here with us fielding two teenagers and two 30+ year olds. To be fair to Evans he hasn't shied away from the battle.

I expect Spurs to get plenty more chances second half. I expect us to get a few counters too. It'll all depend on who can be more efficient. There is no way to call who will win this.

That being said, our attempts to play football have been hamstrung by our right hand side. Especially Dalot and Evans. The latter, especially, has dawdled on the ball and looked baffled as to what to do in possession. Both need to improve massively.

We're poor at defending corners but I'm not sure if that's something that a best set piece coach would solve. We're a small team, just look at that midfield. Mainoo against Romero is not going to win many headers.

Tottenham set pieces are well executed, it's just difficult to defend against.

We are giving the ball away far too easily, yet again, and we are not progressing the ball quick enough. By the time we start to move forward we have virtually the whole Spurs team behind the ball. Once again we have no real menace from corners, just occasionally we get an attempt on goal. Spurs are a real threat at corners and we are rubbish at defending them. Not very good to watch even though we are winning although both goals were great.
