None of them did. No one was marshalling the defense and our out ball was atrocious and our midfield just stood on and watched. We have been much better in the last 20 with the back line being excellent.

Herrera has done very little this game. I swear some have a hatred for big brutes and so whenever we lose control of the midfield its all on Matic and Herrera gets a pass.

Herrera got absolutely skinned by Pereira who laid it on a plate for Decoure. He's also gone forward plenty and produced nothing of note in attack, which is why we look so vulnerable on the counter attack.

I'd say Matic, Herrera and Young were easily our worst performers.

Not just the back four. Matic and Herrera were certainly no better. Couldn't clear the lines at all, and misplaced the simplest of passes. Worrying to see such a lacklustre home performance with some absolutely massive games coming up.

Thats because most of our chances are created by our forwards themselves. Today our only significant pass came from Luke shaw which shows everything. Our forwards usually run, dribble and try to pass to each other or take on the defender themselves. No creativity in the squad.

Rashford & martial have to create their own chances than be strikers that rely constantly on players that produces chances for them.
