Hes been shit for 2 years. He hasnt proven anything for a long time.30m for a 24 year old forward who has proven he can play at the top level... When we ourselves are low on options up top? We'd be daft to accept that.
We are crying for good forwards.state of people in here...aye we are crying out for forwards and going to sell Rashford
He’s on €150k now right? Well, he can get 250 for all that I care. And I’d say sell in two years if he dont improve.
I would love to know how you've come up with this number?Yes and who will want a 250k per week player who puts out 40K per week level performances?
With how we're operating in the transfer market this summer, I really really don't see that. Maybe for another club, but the way we're flexing our muscles this summer, we're more likely to convert Shaw to an attacker.Harvey Barnes is currently better than him.
I don’t understand the people that want him to stay. He can easily be replaced. Just another pre Madonna we don’t have to feel like we have to play.
If we sell Rashford, who plays LW?The guy is on his last 2 years of contract. He hasn't played well for quite some time and we're well stocked at the LW department. I'd say sell him now and bring in a RW instead.
Can anyone answer this? I’m struggling to think of oneWhen was his last good game?
There will be no concrete offer and i can't believe that there is any real interest. Just because his brother gets on the eurostar and goes to their office doesn't mean anything - the meeting would just have ended up with PSG reps laughing their heads off. Its more likely he just wanted a stadium tour.If we sell Rashford, who plays LW?
Thank you for this little rant but it didn't quite answer my questionThere will be no concrete offer and i can't believe that there is any real interest. We are being lured into the same old same old. Why would PSG be interested in such a limited player who last had an 8/10 game two years ago and last season with a whopping 5 goals cost us £2m per goal contribution.
Makes me laugh how people slag off Barca fans for their treatment of players, then this thread is 99% slagging off Rashford.A bit scary to realize how much resentment there is towards Rashford on here
Good point well made.Thank you for this little rant but it didn't quite answer my question![]()
Think these are the only somewhat realistic options, so agreed. Garnacho is an unknown quantity at this moment, could be brilliant could be terrible. I mentioned yesterday that at this particular moment, I think this poor version of Rashford is better than Gakpo, although it would also be one for the future of course.Good point well made.
Garnacho would offer more consistently already but we are already being linked with Gakpo. We've also stated an interest in Ziyech who would free up Sancho to be an option on either wing.
Or that he's a very astute footballing brain who is prone to making good judgements maybe?Your argument revolves around the assumption that Campos is perfect and is immune to making mistakes
Sancho and Garnacho slots into RW. Might be better balanced that way.If we sell Rashford, who plays LW?
I would love to see Garnacho given a proper chance. He has impressed me the few times he has been given a chance. If we sell Rashford, who plays LW?
Me too, but would you want to rely on him for a full season?I would love to see Garnacho given a proper chance. He has impressed me the few times he has been given a chance.
No I would hope we sign Gakpo as well. Gakpo and Garnacho should be enough.Me too, but would you want to rely on him for a full season?

All of this are pretty good points and I'm inclined to agree. The issue I'm seeing is United loaded with cash but little time to do business finding the correct players for the positions that need strengtheningRashford's contract is at a stage when we either throw huge piles of money at him so he extend his contract or we sell him for good money. If we delay then his transfer fee will shrink and we risk that he'll send us to feck off only to leave for free in a couple months time. That's what his very committed/United DNA mates at the academy (Lingard and Pogba) did after all. Now is he worth being given a long contract on silly money? The answer is definitely no. Should we sell? The answer is probably yes especially since we've got a ready made replacement in Sancho, a solid squad player in Elanga and one of the finest prospects in Garnacho. The latter will probably not sign a contract extension if he's not given game time.
United is said to have around 80m-90m yet to spend ie the De Jong & Rabiot money + another 10m-15m to spend on a striker. If we sell Rashford then we'll add another 60m-70m to the kitty. That's alot of money to go around. I'd say we go for Soler and Laimer who are both heading towards their last year of their contract and would probably cost us around the 60m mark and we then spend 50-60m for Moussa Diaby. That would leave us ample money for a striker and a RB.
Agree with all of this. The only new contract we should offer Rashford is a 50% pay cut, because he’s not come near the levels expected of him when he signed his current deal.Rashford's contract is at a stage when we either throw huge piles of money at him so he extend his contract or we sell him for good money. Most people are saying it is better for both parties he moves on. That is not slagging off and no one is booing him.Makes me laugh how people slag off Barca fans for their treatment of players, then this thread is 99% slagging off Rashford.
We're not the only ones who are desperate. There are many top players with just 1 year left in their contract most of whom are at clubs who need to balance the books. We have to act now and swiftly. We should bid for 2-3 players in the same position and we must leak everything to the media. We'll put clubs into a situation were they can cash in now or risk losing players on a free. All of this are pretty good points and I'm inclined to agree.
