How's he done so far back at Dortmund? Would've loved him here.

How's he doing this season? Completely forgot he exists.
Slowly geting back his fitness. He is comparable to Shinji, who ,and sorry for this guys but its true, was in such a bad shape in terms of fitness, it was shocking, and he needed a half year to get to a normal fitness point. This seems also be the case with Götze now. This is needed as a base. And then he can get better until a comparable point like he was. He is getting slowly his selfconfidence back, getting slowly back to his ball-control and oversight. Its a slow but constant progress right now. Every game a little bit better, but also he is still out of air after 60min. We leave him alone, hoping that he is getting better and better.

Shinji's own fault. He believed the hype and cashed in too much money. He was eating too much (even missing 2 or 3 weeks for overeating or some sort of bullshit) and spend time with his japanese porno girlfriend

Fomer World Cup winner told can leave on a free at the end of the season.

Haven’t watched much of this guy recently so my opinion on him may not be the greatest starting point. However IMO I’ve always rated him highly and since he’s being released on a free transfer next window. We should sign him I actually think he could do a job for the team, bring him in as back-up for Bruno and Pogba bc of the laters propensity to be injured. It is stated in the article however his injury proness and want for first team football. Still though the guy has had an pretty stop start career is an outstanding player on his day, one of my favourite goals is his in the 2014 World Cup. Plus with all COVID crisis currently being experienced, I believe this is the sort of transfer we should be looking into doing. A couple of negatives he’s not the strongest of players or great in the air but his recovery & dribble numbers are good. He’s got amazing stats for what I’ve seen. Would definitely give us more option and who doesn’t love a good FREE transfer; the only negative I feel would be if he could hack it in the premier league we’ve had enough enough horrors at they end of their day (think Schweinstiger,Hargreaves etc.) trying it over here and just doesn’t happen for whatever reason.

(edit: I don't think Hargreaves was past it when he came to united, but I’m sure we’ve all read paper talk and heard the stories Bayern knew his days were numbered when they sold him and we just ended up with a great player who was saddled with injury.
