People may have noticed throughout this thread I have am a massive fan of this guy.

He would improve us and the other players around him a lot. I'd go out of my way to get a few of the players from Palace, including Guehi.

Every time i have watched him he has been incredible.

I'll be gutted if one of our rivals get him

He's what Wilf Zaha was meant to be

Ten Hag would make him look shite anyway. Sack our clown manager before signing a single new player.

To be fair, we make the most average players look incredible, so I'd never go too over board about any players due to their performance against our joke of a side.

Still though, he's the exact sort of quick, exciting and explosive players I love to watch.

Hopefully sarcasm as Saha, Berbatov, Tevez, Ronaldo, etc all did great jobs against us
Back then we were a really good team and it took someone special to shine against us.
Currently we make average players at teams happy to stay up look like Matthäus, Stojkovic, Kaka.
Doesn`t mean these players can`t be good upgrades for us, like Olise, but we should be very careful of going nuts over performances against us.

Not convinced. Think he is too similar to what we currently have, albeit a slightly better athlete but with seemingly reoccuring injury.

He's a winger who had 11 premier league assists last season at 21 years old. Who is that the same as at United?

Sancho would be the closest although that wasnt in the premier league and he's out on loan possibly not playing for us again. Rashford got 9 once... Garnacho has 4 this season

The injuries are a concern. The record and abilities make it a no brainer otherwise

I can see City moving on Grealish or Bernardo Silva deciding to go to Barca and City buying him.

Joking aside, I have been impressed every time I've seen the lad play, would love to have him here.

Hard to see him staying at Palace with all due respect.

He's ok but not spectacular. I don't know what price we are willing to pay for him and that fills me with fear. If we pay a 90 million quid fee and give him 300k a week straight off, he'll be going back to Palace on a loan in 2 years.

He's no Hazard or Robben, so let's be serious for once about paying the right price for the player.

I would love him here but, hate to say this, at the moment I think he'd be really silly to join us.
Maybe in another year where we look like a club that's finally making solid progress, sure ( hopefully he'll still be at Palace ).
But if he has a choice between us, City, Arsenal and maybe Liverpool , you'd imagine we'll be way down on that list.

Literally the only reason you might be tempted to not go for him this summer is injuries. Might be worth a risk because if this season is only a blip 60m is a bargain.

I wonder if Palace would ask for Amad in return? Could be a way to knock probably 25m off the fee.

I actually think Eze is the bigger talent of the two, he's far more impressive and Olise reminds me of Rashford on form, this year he's run into blind alleys lots of times and makes the wrong decision but gets so many chances he looks good. Eze is so intelligent and plays for the team, he looks 10x better when Eze is available.

Eze is 26 next month. Basically a pensioner.

Olise at 22 has a higher ceiling I think. Although you need to stop signing ex Chelsea players, it never works for you.

We got some good months out of Matic and a decent restaurant out of Mata. And Mount is helping provide our recently restructured medical department with some much-needed experience.

Didn't know Olise was a Chelsea youth player! They are different mould of players and we have too many direct players that don't like the team that forces us to play so quick on the transition and get in behind and never retain possession and I think as good as Olise is he fits that pattern, I want to build up the play and I think Eze would be a better option for that.

You'd think he was prime Messi yesterday after reading this thread today. He was visible and tidy, but he fecked up so much situations too. Great run and placement for the first goal and Onana gifted him the second, but he also laid an egg in multiple situations.

Olise is a way better passer than Rashford.

I read recently that both Olise and Eze could have release clauses around 55m?
That could be a rumour but if true I’d do everything to sign them both.
Get Guirassy too for his release clause of 15m. Our attack would be night and day.

Ball sticks to his foot and he looks to play the pass as often as he tries to beat the man. Wonder if him and Bruno would get in the way of each other though? I guess having them both might force Bruno to have a little more discipline positionally. Would be interesting to see if he can cede a little control of the ball to someone else in those advanced positions. I think it would give us some balance if we had a twin threat down the middle. Would probably mean playing a four up top at times making it even more important to have a top defensive midfielder and wing backs in behind. If we need three players in those positions it makes it difficult to see how we also sign olise

Eze would be an excellent Bruno replacement if that bollocks about him leaving isn’t bollocks.

To me they look very similar quality but Olise is significantly younger. I don't think he's like Rashford at all really. On the ball he looks excellent and I think he'd be great in a team that dominates possession. Eze I agree but I think Olise has a higher ceiling.

He’s good but at £60m I’d rather bring Sancho back and sign a LW.

I think his best option would be to stay at Palace for another season . He has some very good team mates & a manager who wants to play a style of football that suits him.
If Palace can that team together & make a few clever additions they could have a very good season ahead of them.

Olise is the opposite of Rashford. Doesnt rely on pace and is looking to play others in so they can score, which is why he got 11 assists last season the same as Saka, 1 less than Salah and 5 less than KDB who made up the top 4 creators in the premier league last season.

This signing has to happen this summer, I just hope INEOS have a good manager lined up who will bring good coaching fundamentals and a system players can be utilized in.

Sell Sancho, Anthony and Rashford.
Buy Olise and Nico Williams.
Garnacho, Nico Williams, Olise and Diallo are good options for our wings, as long as ETH isn't coaching them.
God no, not Nico Williams. He would struggle in the pl, I think he's gonna flop at a top club.
