Yeah those last minutes... I thought the cops were gonna feck it up.This first episode is incredibly tense viewing!
Reckon there'll be a lot of flashback stuff and court case stuff?
Yeah, because you know the premise of the show is how authorities messed it up soany times as well.Yeah those last minutes... I thought the cops were gonna feck it up.
Good first episode.
That's Lobster Boy Evan Peters. He's an amazing actor.Just now read that the lead was in Mare of Easttown & won an Emmy.
I loved Mare & enjoyed his character, but I don’t think I would have ever put two & two together that they were the same actor without reading it.That's Lobster Boy Evan Peters. He's an amazing actor.
Loved Mare of Easttown too. He was totally transformed for this role.I loved Mare & enjoyed his character, but I don’t think I would have ever put two & two together that they were the same actor without reading it.
The actor, Evan Peters, has been a mainstay on American Horror Story, so he’s got playing a creepy character down pat.Liked it, has a really creepy atmosphere when Dahmer is in the scene so credit to the actor as well.
Ah okay, haven't seen American Horror Story, ofcourse I only remembered him as QuicksilverThe actor, Evan Peters, has been a mainstay on American Horror Story, so he’s got playing a creepy character down pat.
Putting Mare of Eastown spoilers in this thread is funny.Loved Mare of Easttown too. He was totally transformed for this role.
His death in there shocked me. I wasn't expecting it. I was very upset and didn't want to continue watching after that.
Totally necessary.Putting Mare of Eastown spoilers in this thread is funny.
For MoE yes, but if you open that spoiler thinking it's about Dahmer and see MoE spoilers, it's a bit shit isn't it. Regardless of how old it is, you don't expect that in this thread.Totally necessary.
Ugh I hope not. He was far worse than Dahmer and you couldn’t put his story on screen.Finished this Saturday evening. I'd say John Wayne Gracy series will be next maybe.
He was slated to be the next focus of Mindhunter until the show's plug got pulled.Ugh I hope not. He was far worse than Dahmer and you couldn’t put his story on screen.
Mindhunter was more about interviewing them and understanding them after the murders though. This is about Dahmer's life and (I've only seen 3 episodes) goes into detail on the murders and such. Dahmer was a twisted feck but Gracy was a whole other level. He goaded, tortured, and raped his victims before killing them, just not sure how you could put that on screen without it being gore porn.He was slated to be the next focus of Mindhunter until the show's plug got pulled.
Agree on the difference in perspective of the two shows & agree that Gacy would be a whole different level re: the sadism, etc.Mindhunter was more about interviewing them and understanding them after the murders though. I spoilered it just in case someone in here didn't see Mare of Easttown and might want to want to watch it now.Putting Mare of Eastown spoilers in this thread is funny.
I actually had to go and look up the stuff with the Native kid in episode two cause I assumed it was made up, but nope, it wasn't, nuts.Really is crazy how shit the police are too
White privilege at its best. Guess because the neighbor was black they didn't pay too much attention to her concerns. They then get rewarded as if they were the victims. That really irked me. They could have saved so many lives if they had just listened.Really is crazy how shit the police are too
