Warriors are 6-0 after a L in the playoffs so far, Celtics are 7-0. Boston is by far the better team overall, the Warriors are still in this series because of Curry's greatness. I believe his Game 4 performance was his best ever playoffs game and one for the ages. Him shooting 50/49/86, having something like 168 points in 176 or so, really even with all the media love he still doesn't get enough credit imo. He also seems completely locked in, you even saw it in the first Q last game.

This series is so very important for him. A Finals MVP and another ring cements his place in the top 10 all-time for me, while with another loss he would likely remain in that KD territority on the outside looking in.

Harden, Westbrook and Carmelo Anthony should go into same historically shit tier. Happy their careers are ending the waý they are.
All of them in their prime were ball-hoggers, scorers, always perform superbly in regular season. In playoff their games couldn’t translate well due to a lot of reasons( especially their shit attitudes). They couldn’t lead the team as number1 to the victory.

It is fascinating to see how even the numbers / basketball indicators are after four games: a slightly-past-their-peak-team- with-one-superstar being perfectly matched by a slightly-earlier-their-peak-team-with-more-good-players. At 2-2, that’s where the Dubs experience could really enter play and I doubt this Cs core would survive the regret, in case they lose this series: they are not the 2012 OKC kids losing vs prime Miami amigos. Let’s go Cs!

What if he puts up dominant performances in a loss? Would he still make it into the top 10?

This is just not true. Peak Harden was a ridiculously good player and certainly good enough to lead a team to a championship. He ran into the greatest team of all time and lost. There is no shame in that.

Westbrook has had heaps of great playoff performances. Yes, he was never at the level to be the number 1 option on a championship team but he was still a hall of fame level player and at his best could be the best player on the court regardless of the opponent.

Melo, yes, I agree. He is a tier or two below the others.

He would have won a title if the Pistons drafted him instead of Darko

Close to a "must win" again tonight for the Dubs. If they go back to Boston down 3-2 it's not over but the fat lady is definitely close to starting up a tune.

I feel the same for the Celtics. Don't know how they'd deal with the pressure of losing 2 in a row

Liking the celtics defense on curry so far. They need to get it together offensively though.

Still waiting for the Celtics to show up...

Except Time Lord. Time Lord is a marvel

Edit: celtics have showed up. Creating good shots now - and missing them for the most part - while defending well

Good first half. Wiggs has been great. Need another strong 3rd quarter now to keep the momentum going.

That should be it. Great game by wiggins. Tatum has been really disappointing this series.

After a slow start it felt in the 2nd quarter like this might be Tatum's game but it's not ended up like that, Wiggins has been tremendous again.

Celtics showing their inexperience this quarter. They will be kicking themselves home after Curry’s relatively poor shooting night. They missed a real chance.

What a bizarre Game 5. Boston shot well for 10 minutes in the 3rd to get back in the game, but then gave it back in the 4th.

Wiggins has led the Warriors tonight and been the most consistent player for the Warriors im the series and probably the playoffs. Very impressive game by Wiggins.

What a class win. Kind of knew that Steph will have one bad game and to win that game is so so nice

You have to give it to warriors. It cant be a coincidence that all young players develop well over there.

Thought we'd thrown it away with about 4 minutes to go in the third. Up by 12 at half time to being down by 5. Then a mini run to end the third continuing on into the 4th and it's 3-2.

Woohoo!

Wiggins has come a long way from being a joke in Minnesota. Imagine if he did this consistently over a season
He has been doing most of this, except the aggressive rebounding, throughout the season.

The criticism that he got for the ASG selection came from those who weren’t watching.

He did up to the all star break. Being a starter in the all star game was definitely a stretch but him getting in the game was not unreasonable.

I voted for him.

Klay, Payton, and Poole all chipped in throughout that 4th quarter to support Wiggins.

Defensively for the Warriors, the 4th quarter was impressive as well. Boston lost a lot of points from the free throw line, but really beat themselves tonight as well.

We keep gifting games away but cannot complain, bad offense at crunch time has been downing us for years.

The past few years have been vital to their success this year, in addition to acquiring Wiggins, who then fit in well and developed. Same with Porter, another great pick up

Poole, Payton, Looney are key players and really benefited when Klay and Steph were out.. Wiseman has been hurt and been a bit of a bust so far as a 1 overall.

Brown and Tatum, especially Tatum, have to develop a pull up mid range jumper if either one of them wants to be the guy towards the end of games like this. Can't always drive and try to finish as the rim or kickout. Tatum has the size and elevation, but not the ability (yet) to take someone off the dribble going left or right to get to a spot and pull up or fade for a jumper. That's what separated MJ and Kobe as shooting guards.

I don’t see how you can consider this one as gifting the game away. Warriors led for 90% of the game

The ring is done. Can't see the Boston team having the nerve in a survival game as long as the Warriors offense does not self-destruct.
