Neil Warnock returns to the PL

Wouldn't be suprised to see Pullis get Boro up through the play offs tbh.

Me either. I haven't been watching them but he has the credentials and knowhow to do it. You wouldn't put it past him.

Could still end up at Cardiff if he did, I don't know what would be more likely:

Warnock and Pulis went up, they both get sacked at some point - Pulis takes over at Cardiff
Only Warnock goes up - Pulis takes over at some point after being sacked or poached by Cardiff.

Not sure Boro would let him go if he were doing well next season should they still be in the Championship, nor would he necessarily want to go. He's had those couple of jobs in a row where he was brought in to save clubs, he might think he'd be better off trying to do what he did with Stoke but at Boro. A chance for him to build something up and stay a while.

Didn't want Cardiff to get promoted, don't really find them interesting plus there'll be no derby if Swansea go down. Warnock is historically shite in the Prem. He should just promote Championship clubs and move on when it happens but you can't blame him for wanting another go at the top league.

When Pulis joined Boro he made it clear it was a longer term project and not for anyone to expect anything this season. He's over achieving after the position they were in when he joined. I don't think he'll be going anywhere for a while.

Looking forward to watching them crash and burn, with Foghorn Leghorn gone by Christmas.

Getting robbed three points by the ref and Brexit constantly getting delayed. Tough times.

I'm no Warnock fan but as much as I dislike the man he didn't deserve that today. 2 herrendous decisions could well have cost him his job and sent Cardiff back to the Championship.

But he's a leaver...

He’s actually a nice bloke, I’ve met him quite a few times. He’s got every right to be pissed at that. Shocking officiating.

Absolutely shocking. I am no Cardiff fan but they deserved far better decision making than that.
Always happens to the struggling teams.

...and???

I'm not in the slightest surprised Cardiff are in a relegation battle. The club should have thanked Warnock for getting them back into the PL and got someone else in before the season got under way. That said to come away from that game with zero points which at the same time could well seal their fate, is a big injustice. Felt sorry for the guy tbh, that's all!

I hear you. Chelsea didn't deserve to win that game and got away with one today, that's for sure. Could have done with a bit of daylight between us but got no sympathy for Cardiff.

Start of the season I fully expected them to be where Huddersfield and Fulham are now e.g. not even on 20 points and practically relegated.

Warnock will have done well to get around 35 points with that squad. Probably won't be enough to keep them up though unless Burnley lose every game in the run in.

I particularly enjoyed the way he thought swearing at Azpilucueta from the touchline was a bright idea. As if it was him that made the decision to allow his goal to stand. That Blackwell idiot then did the same.

Once we got 2 players (1 wrongly) sent off vs his QPR side, lost to a non existent penalty and had 2/3 clear ones denied for ourselves.

What you saw today was karma in it's purest form.

I saw a post on a forum - can't remember where - about Warnock and somebody posted pictures of him beside Tony Soprano's mother (when she is twisting her face the ways she does when something displeases her) and the likeness was actually quite scary, so now every time I see him on the TV I think of that and I just can't take him seriously any more...

Love Warnock love life.

I enjoy the way he winds delicate people up, he's like a real life internet troll and a total marmite figure. Decent manager too and I find myself rooting for him. Performed miracles to get Cardiff promoted, doing well this season too considering their budget. This season was always about taking the PL cash for them as well as parachute payments if they went down again, which they probably will now. I believe the club is in a fair amount of debt.

Guessing he'll call it quits at the end of the season no matter what happens.

Already considering throwing the midweek game to City so they can prepare for Burnley instead going off his post match comments. I hope the Premier League take severe action if he does. Holloway & McCarthy were charged with doing such things in the past.

They have threw pretty much every game this season, you can't charge a team for being shit.

Still have Brighton Burnley to play, Crystal Palace who’ll probably be confirmed as up second last game.

Burnley to play Bournemouth Everton Chelsea city arsenal and Cardiff. Cardiff V Burnley will be a huge game. Our loss to Burnley May have just kept them up, but I think they’ll go down and Cardiff will stay up

In April they're away 4 times and at home once and that's against Liverpool. Of course they could beat those teams away but it won't be easy.

I actually defended Mick McCarthy when he did that and at the time we were in the position you guys will be if Warnock does the same midweek.

Sometimes you just have to prioritize for the greater good, on the opposite end of the scale you guys resting players against Stoke last season was at the time a boost in their survival bid.

No club has a duty to anyone other than their own.

Already declared he'll play the u23 against City and try to keep it at 10-0.

Pretty tired of these teams conceding the game before it's played. Making it a piece of piss for City.

Blame financial doping, then

Let’s be clear they aren’t relegated based on one game. They’re relegated because they’ve been shit all season, got a dinosaur manager and have shown their classy side by not paying money owed for Sala. Relegation deserved

Might as well replace him now.

Just naive and sentimental for Cardiff to have not replaced him in the summer. He’s great at getting teams out of the Championship but terrible at keeping them in the Premier League. Seemed like a no brainer to get rid of him after promotion.

As if it makes any difference what team they put out at City.
