Fellaini has worked hard for us and scored some important goals. Whatever changes now, he deserves a little respect. No need to be a cnut. We really outdid ourselves with Shaw in the summer. Time to act like our current manager, not the last one.

I think the posters point was that if we needed to Scott will be on the bench to fill in at CB in an emergency situation. I.E we need to sub 2 in the game.
Yeah, I get it. I just don't think it makes sense, even in an emergency. Never worked under Mourinho that move. He's easily bullied. At best he can draw fouls from the opposition attackers.

Cool, happy enough with that team. Hopefully Sanchez gets half an hour

As bad as Newcastle have been this season, they've only conceded more than 2 goals on 3 occasions. Only once was that at home, 0-3 to West Ham. They lost 4-0 at Anfield last week, yes, but I am expecting this to be tight, tough match.
    0-5 United.

Not happy with Mata starting tbh, would have preferred a faster player.

Checking the team now, Valencia is way disappointing but it's the same usual team so should be enough to get the win.

The bench is strong enough too.

    Newcastle United team
Starting XI: Dubravka, Yedlin, Schar, Lascelles, Dummett, Ritchie, Diame, Hayden, Atsu, Perez, Rondon
Subs: Woodman, Manquillo, Lejeune, Shelvey, Kenedy, Muto, Joselu

    Manchester United team
Starting XI: De Gea, Valencia (c), Lindelof, Jones, Shaw, Herrera, Matic, Pogba, Mata, Rashford, Martial
Subs: Romero, Darmian, Young, Fred, Lingard, Alexis, Lukaku

Three changes from the victory against Bournemouth with Valencia, Jones and Mata coming in for Young, Bailly and Lingard.

What’s the issue? You can still see the team in full view without having to click anything.
The cross tweets from the app always show up with a gray box instead of the team sheet for me, browser issue maybe.

Valencia or Young doesn't really matter. Good team. Mata is a fine choice but would have liked to see Sanchez. Hopefully he comes on at some point.

Great squad. I’m not that bothered about Valencia coming in as St James’ Park is sometimes a tricky place to go and some experience could do the team good.

Dalot should carry on starting a few games at home however.

I rate Mata higher than Lingard anyway. Glad Lukaku isn’t starting as I think Rashford is close to becoming our No. 1 striker now and hopefully will become the main starter.

Very disappointing to see Valencia in there to be honest. If he needs a game, I'd have given him 60mins against Reading, but oh well.

    1-2 United. C'mon lads!!

Rashford and Martial still starting
Good to see Mata get another start, was excellent vs Huddersfield. Sanchez and Lukaku to both come on and both score, hopefully Fred can have a positive sub as well.

A little irked by Valencia starting. I know he's more dependable than Dalot, but I'm not convinced by him. Hope I'm wrong

Expecting a difficult game. This will be a good barometer of Ole and his influence. An away game against a good manager. All away games in EPL have potential to be banana skins.

    Losing to Comeback Winning!
3 attacking options on the bench, if the team have to eg. Newcastle defense is annoying to break open, maybe Ole will throw all of 'em in, Ferguson style -- full throttle attack 3X!

No chance for Chong this time, Lukaku and Sanchez are back.

Sanchez not starting is the biggest blow for me. Mata is great, but I think Sanchez and his pace today would be a great addition.

That right side doesn't look good....
The Valencia-Herrera-Mata trio actually has a very good history together and I remember them being a big part of some of our big performances over the last few years. They always have a good understanding and link up with each other, more so than with other players.

Mata doesn't have the legs to play an attacking role in this team imo.
