And also, I know football has moved on a lot since Ferguson came, and so have we, obviously. But those saying that Moyes isn't a big enough name, or hasn't achieved enough - I think as a modern day achievement, keeping Everton in the top 7 or 8 in the country for 10 years, with the money he's had ... while not being quite up there with what Fergie had done when he arrived from Aberdeen ... should not be scoffed at. It's a truly remarkable achievement.
I'd like to see Moyes go somewhere else first for a couple of years though. Someone inbetween us and Everton. Someone like Spurs for example ... which I genuinely think might happen. Then if he does well there for 2/3 years - why not.
Pep would be my first choice though, but I would be entirely happy with Moyes at 2nd.
