I'll be extremely disappointed if it is anyone else other than Ten Hag. If it's the Cappuccino guy who was at Tottenham I might Kill myself.
Poch has always been liked by SAF, has worked with Levy which would stand him in good stead with the owners and he certainly wouldn't upset the apple cart. I hope we can get this done.Poch supposedly wanting to leave now massively strengthens our bargaining power. If we do fancy ten Hag over him, then we're in a position to tell him "Well there's this other chap we're pretty keen on who's made himself available now... you'll have to force a move or miss out."
This is true, but I suspect he was never that high up on the board's list of preferred targets. I'm fairly confident Poch is their main target - the club and SAF have always had a hardon for him.Poch supposedly wanting to leave now massively strengthens our bargaining power. Does winning the Dutch league as Ajax manager count for much either?Winning the french league with Messi Neymar and Mbappe counts for absolutely feck all. A monkey could pick their team every week with a bingo machine and still walk the league.
Ok so why were you comparing Tuchel’s sacking to the prospect of Rodgers being sacked by Leicester?

He did at Spurs... lost his composure by the end
Yeah, what's his name? The guy that didn't win anything. The Cappuccino guy?
Also, the fact he is ready to leave behind a squad with the riches of PSG is a great sign for us. No way should we be considering begging the likes of Zidane or waiting for an ETH. I really think we'd be in safe hands with either Erik or Poch though.I'm happy with either Poch or Ten Hag. It will be most likely Poch. He is willing to come even mid season. This is the right mindset and attitude. I think this is the right appointment. Finally, after 4 wrong managers since SAF retired.
I was surprised Poch was sacked by Spurs. He was to them SAF was to us.
He punched above the weight for many years while losing his best players and minimal spending.

People are attaching far more weight to 2 games against Dortmund this season.Does winning the Dutch league as Ajax manager count for much either?
Why not look at Graham Potter.
Did amazing work with Östersund in Sweden (He even managed to beat Arsenal).
To be honest, Brighton is playing better fotball than us at the moment.

Honestly if Poch wants to come right now it's probably best to get him. I like Ten Hag a bit more though.
Fair play to those holding onto the ETH dream. It’s going to be Poch. We’ll go for ETH next most likely (assuming he’s not gone to city)
He has brilliant potential but are we really in a position to take a gamble of epic proportions? Why not look at Graham Potter.

His progress in the CL with a team constantly stripped of its best players, along with promotion of young talent outweighs anything Poch has done bar one hot streak with Harry Kane in the form of his life. Poch has never rebuilt a team to acheive those same heights and IMO his style of play isn't on the same level either.Does winning the Dutch league as Ajax manager count for much either?
Spot on
Yep. We had that window open last year when Ole was having awful results and all that was needed was just pull the trigger but instead the board let Ole ride out the storm and got himself a chance to bounce back with unexpected victories over Spurs and City. Should have hired Poch then.Could have had him for free a little over a year ago.

I feel you, I think if he goes to City they’d just continue their dominance. However football moves quickly, if we go through a similar cycle with Poch (hopefully winning a trophy or two) there may be a new kid in the block. The guy at Sporting is being touted as the next best thing. There will be others.Yeah I am crossing everything he doesn’t go elsewhere in the Premier League, then at least means there is still a possibility of him managing here one day
If we can get Poch now then we should probably do that.
Ten Hag is my number one choice but if Poch will leave PSG for us and Ten Hag won't leave Ajax then maybe Poch is the man.
Finding s caretaker to save our season would be tough
My friend I thought they were referring to if Poch is sacked from PSGOk so why were you comparing Tuchel’s sacking to the prospect of Rodgers being sacked by Leicester?
They also wouldnt be tanited by the current seasoncan we play that game though with our current squad. Ronaldo doesn't press, our midfield isn't comfortable in possession. It might be why these managers would prefer to come in next season, so they can add a couple of players to more suit their preferred style of play
personaly I don’t think we ever should have hired Ole full time and tried everything to get poch that summer when Ole’s interim contract was going to expireYep.
