Yeah that would be ideal, big fan of Nagelsmann but doesn't feel like he is interested in leaving that Leipzig project for at least a couple of years yetGet VdS
Get a DoF
Get Pochettino

Hahaha precisely. You could clone Fergie and give him the gig it would still follow the same path.Woody and the Glazers have done it again. Failed to back the manager and now we’re discussing who should be the new manager, even though they’re the ones who should be out the door.
Just wanted to write that. And not just big clubs. Every club.just like all the other big clubs who win things
The feck would we consider Giggs? He's completely unproven.Pochetino
Nagelsman
Giggs
Ten Hag
Only options I would consider
Giggs? Please tell me this is a WUM?Pochetino

He's never really been that good at a club level though has he? He seems like he's found his place at international level. How about United go all out for Didier Deschamps as manager?
With Euros and World Cup to participate in over next 20 Months, he probably wouldn’t come before 2022/3 season.
But he could be amazing as well as attracting lots of top French talents.
He may never re-adjust to club management, but his last experiences were in 2010, so he has obviously learned so much in that time. He's never really been that good at a club level though has he? He seems like he's found his place at international level.
Sorry if you've posted this before but do you have a ranked 'preferred manager list'? (e.g. 1. _______, 2. Poch, 3. ______, 4. ________)It's very important not to repeat the same mistakes again.
Underqualified, out of their depth: Moyes, Solskjaer
Experienced, past their sell-by date: LVG, JoMou
A top manager in his prime is what's needed, Poch being the obvious candidate, just hope Woody doesn't drag out the sacking and someone else ends up getting him instead.
When things go wrong for Bielsa, they go so very wrong. And in this club, squad, environment there can be only one outcome.Bielsa or Ancelotti if Ole has to go.
Anybody else just wouldn't be good enough and we'd be looking for a new manager again.
It's just Poch really. Too early to go for Nagelsmann and I don't think he'd fancy it.Sorry if you've posted this before but do you have a ranked 'preferred manager list'? (e.g. 1. _______, 2. Poch, 3. ______, 4. ________)
Gotcha. It's just Poch really. Too early to go for Nagelsmann and I don't think he'd fancy it.
Ole is still at the club. I'd say it will be disrespectfulGotcha.
We know Wubwub monitors this forum and I've been thinking it would be useful to do a head-to-head thread between Poch-Nagelsmann-Rose.
Around Christmas is my guess.I think Poch, and it may be sooner than we think.
I disagree on that, he's been managing for a number of years already, in the international stage not ina low tier leage. Yes, he's yet to achieve success and accolades but that's not actually because of him being a bad manager. The feck would we consider Giggs? He's completely unproven.
I think he is a bit of a douche but he must be a decent manager. He has done well everywhere he's been and is overachieving for two years in a row with Leicster. Its still early days but they continually get raided and lose their best players, have lost Ndidi to injury this year, but still play decent football.Hasenhuttl or Nagelsmann. Rodgers for me is a good mention I think the key should be for us to identify managers with a clear philosophy / identity willing to imprint on the team. Hansi Flick is a great example about having a decent squad of players under one manager and completely re-galvanising the performances of the team simply by implementing his vision. We should find a manager who is best suited to manifesting this transition.
How about having an awful personality? I don't expect the manager to be gandhi (I'm actually one of those getting angry at Ole for smiling when we're loosing) but honestly speaking I'd rather get moyes back than give it to giggsy even though I loved him as a player.I disagree on that, he's been managing for a number of years already, in the international stage not ina low tier leage. You don't always get what you want.Doesn't matter who the coach is. if the recruitment team / board isn't changed we're going nowhere. Ole wanted Haaland, Bellingham (both who look very good) and Sancho. He got Igalho, Donny and 2 unknown kids.
This isn't a recruitment / management team that is going to deliver a title under Poch. No chance.
Yh agreed - I think it's a simple choice of finding someone who has built a team that is exciting to watch (and lines up with how we think we can be successful as a club) and ideally has PL experience. If not PL than at the very least a big 5 European League. Hasenhuttl would be top choice for me, seems a strong character is playing with a team that is borderline relegation quality and outperforming every expectation - he's also incredibly involved in revolutionising Saints and how their project is run from the academy level and has created his 'book' which covers everything from types of players for each position to improving the standards of their lower level coaches.Hasenhuttl or Nagelsmann. You think that is bad? Have you noticed people talking about Eric Bailly? Bailey, Baly, Bally, etc. When we do next appoint a new manager if it is Pochettino.
Can the Mods set it to Auto Correct when people annoyingly post Poch as if he's their best mate to Pochettino?
Like when Mourinho was hired it was changed so people couldn't post Jomo?

Ducking hell. Half of them can’t spell the name of the greatest manager we’ve had in our lifetime. You think that is bad? Have you noticed people talking about Eric Bailly? Bailey, Baly, Bally, etc.
