Are any of those "friendlies" above qualifying matches for Copa America / World Cups?

Assume they didn't qualify for WC as hosts! But hard to believe that of all his 60-odd matches, 50 were friendlies!

There is no qualifying for the Copa America, all of the teams qualify because there are so few of them. He made his debut in 2010 after the World Cup and didn't have to qualify in 2014 as Brazil were the host, so none of them were qualifiers.

Watching Rafinha, Willian, Costa, Lima, Firminho, Marquinhos with Neymar against the USA I want to know WTF was wrong with Scolari. That must have been the worst squad selection of all time.
Marquinhos is an excellent footballer - he's very young & inexperienced, also he doesn't play a lot because of Luiz/Silva at PSG. He needs to be put into the deep-end & develop - those that have seen him play know he has potential. Costa has showed his talent at Bayern, and suits Brasil's style very well. Willian is definitely not a bad player, he wouldn't get into any previous Brasil teams but bar Lucas, they don't have any better alternatives. Firmino was also quite good last season, and has performed in his few appearances for Brasil so far.

I don't rate Scolari & I normally disagree with everything he does, but those players should be in the squad. You're right about Rafinha though, I am very surprised he made the team. There are plenty of better options than him, I think. I think it's only fair that he experiments a little - the last squad didn't do much to justify their call ups (a theme that started since around 2007) - but I do think they should have a different manager.

He doesn't mean they shouldn't be in the squad, he means that Scolari should have called them up when he was manager.
