Still waiting for the Youthquake
Hypothetical question, if us, City, Chelsea, Bayern, PSG and Madrid went in for him, all offering him the same contract, who does he choose?
as others have said probably a new contract at Barca
failing that probably Madrid as its a great city, nice weather and of course he speaks spanish.
After that I'd guess Chelsea - afterall its London init
Then PSG - Paris - again a great city to live in
Then Bayern - great team, manager who speaks spanish
If he does to come to Manchester we would have a fighting chance against city - though I doubt they would offer the same contract as us, they would probably offer him an extra few million as a bonus
In short I will be pretty amazed if we get Neymar

Guillem Balague actually talking some sense, blaming the Neymar camp for this bullshit and his father the most.
I dont think either club has a clue what is going on.
It is always the same with these transfers. The worst thing is the family and agents creating this bullshit. The Neymar camp, Ramos camp, De Gea camp....

Like Alves and Ramos before him, this has only one conclusion. We really shouldn't be assisting any more external players during contract renegotiation time.
I think it's a bit of a reach to suggest that we were used by Alves. Even in the case of Ramos, I think it was more a case of our saying that we won't be giving De Gea away for nothing (Ramos being identified as the kind of player that it would take for us to part with De Gea.) If all that ended up getting Ramos a better contract, then more power to him and Madrid (I honestly wasn't that bothered about not getting him.)

When most of us our blaming the club to pursue target which is beyond our reach, I think this has never been the club who is pursuing. This is all media and that is why LVG or anyone is also not commenting anything on it. Pure media BS

there is more chance in Burnley bidding £85million for Rooney and De Gea playing upfront as the new No.9 replacement, than us buying Neymar.

46 goals for Brazil in 67 appearances. Given he's only 23, he's got a great chance at beating Pele's record of 77 goals, although he'll likely have more games to do it in.

Other than the Copa America where he got banned, he has performed extremely well in every major tournament he has participated, so he's far from a flat track bully.
that's not really what I was suggesting, I'm just curious and I can't find that info.

Pretty much all the old records will be broken soon enough. Klose broke Müller's record for the German nationalteam last year, van Persie recently became the Dutch all time top scorer, Rooney yesterday for England. It's just crazy how many international games are played these days. Messi will surpass Batistuta soon enough, Ronaldo went past Eusebio a while ago and holds the record for Portugal. France has a very recent record holder in Henry.

Pretty much all of them scored at a significantly lower rate than the greats from previous decades, but played a significant higher number of games. It's just really difficult to compare.

/edit:
Italy might keep their record holders for a while though, they really struggle to produce quality strikers or fail to play them for an extended period of time. Riva, Meazza and Piola are still the top 3 if I'm not mistaken and no other Italian player managed to get to 30 since. If they continue to play Balotelli for 6-7 years he might actually do it.

Watching Rafinha, Willian, Costa, Lima, Firminho, Marquinhos with Neymar against the USA I want to know WTF was wrong with Scolari. That must have been the worst squad selection of all time.

Apart from Marquinhos, none of those names are really bad or undeserved.
His point is that those players weren't selected by Scolari for the WC (with the exception of Willian, who didn't get as much game time as he should've).

Im not a Scolari fan, but most of these names are young. Going either way would've attracted criticism. Rafinha was with Celta Vigo, Costa was playing in Ukraine and quite ignored by most people, and Marquinhos is a case of bad decision making by the player. Luiz Adriano is one that I'd say deserves a shout.
