Defender went with a straight diving helmet to helmet as WR was reaching over the GL.WR drops ball and it goes out through the end zone.
Anyone who thinks thinks that rule is stupid needs to watch some videos of Chuck Cecil. They should have named the rule after him. That guy was mental.
Because nobody had possession. If you fumble out of bounds, it’d still be the ball of whoever had it last. When you cross the goal line, you need to have possession. It’s basically a live ball.
So probably would have been 10-16 but instead it’s 3-19.
It's next to impossible to beat the Chiefs as it is without being screwed over by the refs.
