Isn’t it interesting though how the Ravens and Chiefs have come out looking rusty / off the pace, yet the 49ers came out absolutely on fire. I think how these teams tackle their bye week is really having a huge impact.

Didn't the 49ers have to play week 17 in Seattle? I think that bruising game may have helped them. The Ravens rested players in the last game against Pittsburgh. 2 weeks without games couldn't have helped.

The other side of the coin is that if your good players get injured during a "meaningless" game you get shit for not resting them.
