Wouldn't surprise me if we are going for this guy and one of Caicedo/Rice. Surely ETH recognizes that our midfield was a bit shite without Casemiro and even sometimes with him. Plus we have Fred and McTominay leaving so that balances the squad numbers as well.

I think Mount will offer something we lack but definitely still need a Caicedo/Barella too

Yes I agree, I dont think we are actually in for Barella at all unless Mount falls through. I still think we overpay for Mount @ £55-57m, who is a good player, I just cant see him as our number 8 though personally and still think the likes of Caqueret and Barella would be better options
