They've also scrapped replays in the FA Cup and the League Cup will only be 1 leg.

Great chance for clubs outside of the top 4 to capitalise on the packed schedule of the PL clubs that will be in European competitions.

It's also hard to see beyond City for the title with that schedule as they have (with their summer transfers) a second xi that is as close to their first xi than anyone else in the league.

One hope I have is we seem to have eliminated (for the mosy part) the muscle tweaks and injuries that tend to sideline a lot of our squad throughout a season.

Our injury record is much better this year (2nd half) and most players who were injured tend to have impact injuries.

Massive issue for us. If we beat Sevilla that means we have three weeks until the season. Probably a short vacation and two weeks pre season. Then no winter break. This is madness. Especially with our current depth.

Will further de-value Fa and Carabao Cups. Top clubs will rotate massively for those competitions and rightfully so.

We will need something else besides playing our starting XI at every single match like Ole has been doing. Our performances drop so much when any player from the ideal XI is changed that I fear we may be in real trouble in the comming season if we dont get serious depth for key positions, meaning CDM and RW/LW. With that calendar is easy to predict that we will have a lot of fatigued/injured players.

Just play U23 B teams in it, that is what I hope Lampard does. Chelsea B team were unbeaten last season and I say give the boys a chance, might even do ok!

Doesn't look good alright. Rest and recovery will be vital after this Europa league campaign and at least 3 good quality signings will be required to carry the load.

Terrific. Our injury luck is terrible in a normal season. Add to that our bench being significantly weaker than our starters and this spells trouble for us. Maybe splashing all our cash on one player is the wrong strategy this window.

It's really only right wing we need another player but if we don't get Sancho it'll be someone else.

No, we were a long shot to win next season regardless. That's why trying to build the best squad possible for next season is the worse choice. Clearly we should aim to truly win in 2021/22, thus we should bring in Sancho now.
