@Damien : Would it be more intuitive to read the table if you put the columns with the goals scored next to the respective players? So basically alternating between picked player and their scores. I would assume that is not too much of a hassle in case you agree that it would make the table more easily readable

Great work. Yeah, I suspect he'll be the most picked when more injury subs are made if other players pick up long term injuries.
So many people picked KdB that the easiest swap is Foden because of his team and unique number. Anyone else would have you switch around half your list if it's even allowed.
For the evens contest might do it that the sub has to be unique and can't have same team as the player they're replacing. Depends what you all think.

I think most lists usually contain 5/6 players of top clubs and 1 or 2 wild cards. If your "big player" gets injured you're going to have to go shopping in lower clubs with classic numbers like 7/9/11 already taken by the rest of your picks. Banning players from the same team might create situations where you have pretty much a dead spot in your roster.
I think the rules are fine as they are imo
I proposed it, keeps the interest going longer, or that was the plan anyway, the last evens contest I lost 2 players to injury fairly early one so had zero chance of "competing" - given KdB's popularity a lot of the entrants would have been the same this time around, having 1 sub allows for more interest
I'd argue the opposite, that when the injury sub is made you can make two subs. That would allow more combinations to be made. E.g. swap out KdB for Hojlund, but need to shift Antony first to do so.
Otherwise injury events will make squads look more similar. If it means people are randomly latching on to tight calves to swap 25% of their picks so be it.
It ultimately hinges on whether you place the emphasis on monolithically rewarding the wisdom/luck of the original picks or want to build mechanisms for timely/effective squad management to keep it tasty.
