Damn right. SAF whinged and grumbled often and banned reporters who asked him questions he didn’t like and that’s when we were indisputably the top side in the land.Ferguson must have been clinging on for 20 years
Ole said before the game that he would say what he really thinks after the match, if we won, so I guess that’s what he was alluding to. He knew he couldn’t cut loose like that if we lost but he had it in the chamber ready.
Could be a sign of pressure but SAF felt pressure as well. Not so much fear of the sack but pressure to win every game.
Good to see some anger from Ole and I imagine the players have already seen this a few times. Possibly he’s tougher than he comes across in the media. As an aside, I thought Carrick and McKenna looked under it today - maybe he’s read them the riot act as well.
