Fantastic decision and thoroughly deserved.
Well I see this same shit also, that there's absolutely nobody else. Even managers that have already won a title in England such as Mancini. Not that I'd want him but I'd still be more confident he can deliver a title than Solskjaer. What manager should we get if we didn’t extend Ole contract? He’s got us going the right direction.
I see the same shit all the time on here, we’re Man Utd, we should win the league, we should get better. And never is there an answer to who that better is to be able challenge the oil club and pep. I’d love to hear it.
And you care about that why? Can't imagine any of our rivals will lose any sleep over this.
So Ole fans, will twist every fact in football to make it fit their agenda.Atleti hadn't won a game in 15 when they played Chelsea, they were in dire form. Madrid have an aged side that was at civil war with the board. They're big names but they weren't exactly current Bayern. Anything can happen in a final, we saw that ourselves.
Like who?I'd like this a whole lot better if we brought in at least one new face amongst the coaching staff responsible for the playing approach.
Is this sarcastic? We have brought in a new coach?I'd like this a whole lot better if we brought in at least one new face amongst the coaching staff responsible for the playing approach.
Why do you feel the need to lie to justify your crazy opinions?Atleti hadn't won a game in 15 when they played Chelsea, they were in dire form. Madrid have an aged side that was at civil war with the board. They're big names but they weren't exactly current Bayern. Anything can happen in a final, we saw that ourselves.
Do we actually care about their sleeping patterns? Can't imagine any of our rivals will lose any sleep over this.
Who about what you about agenda. So Ole fans, will twist every fact in football to make it fit their agenda.
Chelski beat Real Madrid, Atletico and Manchetser city (England-esque route and easy).
But Ole bottles a final in front of a mediocre small team (we were a decent GK away from winning a European trophy)
The logic you guys have never stops mazing me.
I’d hate that, but each to their own I suppose. I want success and I want it now types.Yeah why not . It’s worked alright for Chelsea I think
You keep repeating progress, progress. I'm saying progress has been marginal, which it has. You keep bringing Mourinho's tenure, but we did the same under him, we finished in CL places in 2 successive season, and finished 2nd. The added bonus was, that we won 2 silverwares along the way, and also reached our highest PL points tally post-Fergie.You are supposed to take away that it is just that, progress. Hence why he has been given an extension. Are you suggesting that we sack our manager when they don't win trophies in this progress? Our club was in a dire situation when he took over, nowhere near ready to challenge for the league or win any cup competition! He has made excellent progress with what he had inherited and has now put us into positions to win trophies, hence the SF's and the final I mentioned. That is progress, whether he won trophies or not. What he has done with the squad and first team and scouting and pathways to the first team is progress.
I am not saying that I would be happy if we didn't win trophies over the next few seasons. I wouldn't, because that would suggest that progress has stagnated and therefore, he would have taken them as far as he can. But I don't know how, after watching them the past few seasons compared to Mourinho's tenure that any fan can say progress has been marginal!
Sorry, I meant they dropped around 15 points the time when they were playing Chelsea and were missing Trippier who is a big part of the way they play. Not to mention they had a man sent off in one of the games. Why do you feel the need to lie to justify your crazy opinions?
So Mancini, I wouldn’t be opposed to that. I didn’t say there’s nobody else, I asked who. That part is usually left out. Like the other poster I just replied to who’d want to try a different manager every year as if it’s some kind of money no object computer game.Well I see this same shit also, that there's absolutely nobody else. Even managers that have already won a title in England such as Mancini. Not that I'd want him but I'd still be more confident he can deliver a title than Solskjaer.
No one said the route was easy, don't project your own feelings onto someone else's post. I said it was doable for a team like United also. Doable as in a team that clearly isn't the best in Europe could have also managed it, not that they would have, that they could have. Stop using absolutes. So Ole fans, will twist every fact in football to make it fit their agenda.

You obviously never talked with an Ole fan before. Why do you feel the need to lie to justify your crazy opinions?
From "hadn't won a game in 15" to that. Shameless lying to justify a mad opinion.Sorry, I meant they dropped around 15 points the time when they were playing Chelsea and were missing Trippier who is a big part of the way they play. Not to mention they had a man send off in one of the games.
Do you even support United? Strange case of hating everything positive for some reason. You obviously never talked with an Ole fan before.
That's a weird way of looking at it. We didn't win because of 10 other players who played atrociously. Or Ole who got the plan wrong. DDG is probably the last guy in that team we should be blaming for that loss. Not entirely, but we didn't win it because of him.
Oh so I was right and now I'm lying? You purposely cut most of the games from your screenshot. I don't have to lie, everything I said is for all to see in their results last season. From "hadn't won a game in 15" to that. Shameless lying to justify a mad opinion.
Yeah I get you there certainly. But look it is what it is and we're all United fans here anyway. I'll be fully behind Ole because he's here to stay for a little while longer and if he pulls up trees next season I'll be delighted to be proven wrong. So Mancini, I wouldn’t be opposed to that. I didn’t say there’s nobody else, I asked who. That part is usually left out. Like the other poster I just replied to who’d want to try a different manager every year as if it’s some kind of money no object computer game.
im happy Ole contract has been extended, it doesn’t mean he’ll be here forever but it shows trust in the direction, stability for players and new signings.
Our big players weren't great, Rashford and Bruno were very poor. We missed Maguire, Ole was late with the subs, and those things cost us the game. But Dave could have won us the final in penalties, all he had to do was save one. That's a weird way of looking at it. We didn't win because of 10 other players who played atrociously. Or Ole who got the plan wrong. DDG is probably the last guy in that team we should be blaming for that loss.
Don’t worry about them, alot of them wouldn’t pass a recaptcha test…What has happened to redcafe?
Posters downright dismissing ole without any other manager in mind to replace him.
Christ as if supporting your manager is some sort of massive crime. You obviously never talked with an Ole fan before.
