P Diddy | Arrested

i'm going to get absolutely battered for what im about to say, but i still think it's important it is said....

... do not leave your children unsupervised with celebs.
They are famous for singing, dancing, acting whatever - thats it, doesn't make them any less likely to be a nonce than a random stranger on the street.

Like remember those people who let their kids have a sleepover with Michael Jackson?! Who in their right mind thinks thats a good idea?! Why is your 13 year old backstage at an awards ceremony. Just think if the amount of debauchery, drink and drugs that are there.... why oh why is your kid there?!

In absolutely no way is this a defence of nonces, but to me, it's like letting your kids play on the train tracks, or encouraging them to run across the road without looking. There is a huge risk of them getting harmed.

I dont leave my kids with anyone. they don't do sleep overs unless they are at their grandparents house. i trust my own parents not to be nonces.
Appreciate the heads up, man. I was going to drop the kids over to Noddy Holder for the weekend but that’s been shelved.

You can’t even advise people to not leave their kids unsupervised around celebrities anymore because of woke

Dammit. Do I have to head to America to get my children? They are currently having sleepovers at some guy named Elon's place and apparently doing some government work for him.

I thought it was free childcare :(

Really brave coming out and speaking your mind like this, even though you know the mob will come for you

..And he got battered Indeed. Like a fish at a Friday night special

Cassie gave her witness statement. Sickening stuff. Must be hard to live with for so many years.

Yeah Cassie's testimony was damning. I am glad she found a new husband and had children etc. I saw clips of the press chasing him for reaction after the testimony kind of gross but whatever.

Is there a transcript somewhere?

Thanks. Yea it's definitely very messed up. Sounds like they have a ton of evidence against Diddy, I imagine the case can only really end one way.
Just checking in, so not fully caught up. Are u a fan as it seems that way. Forgive me if I'm wrong. Justice for me before race which I think possibly your doing, again apologies if wrong.

I don’t really follow celebrity news and didn’t know much about Cassie. But from the updates I’ve been reading of her testimony, it doesn’t paint her in a positive light, as in solely a victim. Diddy did abuse her for years and she is a victim, but she also came off as an accomplice too.

You have to wonder how much agency she should have to break out of the cycle of abuse. She even went back to sleep with Diddy when she was dating Kid Cudi? If that’s true it sounds like trauma bonding to me, and that she misses the toxicity and drama. I don’t know anything about her family upbringing, but it’s sad that it seems no one was there to put some sense into her or fight for her all those years.

I mean you hear that from a lot of abuse stories though. They stay for years because they feel, threatened or scared, or low self esteem think they dont deserve better whatever the case may be. Shes still a victim I mean we all saw her get chased down the hallway of a Hotel and brutalized by him.

Or another famous example Ike and Tina Turner. Years of abuse before she got out. And it's not the victim's fault.

I mean I listen to that testimony and sure I'm like hell naw no one is doing that to me not even one time. But, the bigger picture is notice how the defense isn't saying that none of this awful stuff happened. They are trying to say yeah it happened, but she wanted it. It was consensual.

Put it this way. If I am on that jury and I hear her testimony I see the evidence and the videos and all the defense has is look at this text of Cassie asking Diddy if he wants some sushi or something after the "freak off" that isnt disqualifying. We know the victims stay in these situations. Sometimes until they die. The lucky ones finally get out and hopefully get better and find justice.

Yea, i guess it’s good that she’s finally found someone to settle down with and have a family. I do wonder if the husband knew in this much graphic detail what she’s done and testified to. People were speculating on social media that he stormed out the courtroom, maybe in disgust of Cassie. Who knows, i guess we’ll see how things pan out.

He was hired by Diddy to be her personal trainer. He would have known something I would have thought

I have always had a lot of dislike for Diddy but Cassie isn't coming off well here either.

She even went back to Diddy to have sex when she was with the trainer. Wtf

Because he was abusing and controlling her for years. From when she was barely an adult.

It's incredibly hard to break that kind of hold.

Being in a committed relationship wasn’t enough to break that hold? Some of those texts don’t paint her as simply a victim either. Diddy, if guilty (don’t want to get the cafe), should be behind bars for life.

I think it's quite hard to be in a committed relationship after a toxic abusive relationship and the psychological trauma and baggage that carries. I don't think we should see this as an opportunity to victim blame but an opportunity to learn and realise just how damaging abuse is because of the knock on effects when you try to break free from it or have escaped from it.

Somebody who has been groomed struggles to understand what right and wrong.

It's literally the point of grooming.

Said as someone who has been groomed and taken years to get over it.
