... D'Oh.Meant as a joke mate
Well the story today obvioulsy merits a fresher thread now that he has supposedly come out and said he might be coming back. I would have dismissed this idea as stupid before as he made a decision to retire but if he is having a change of heart then this is brilliant news
https://www.redcafe.net/f9/i-genuinely-think-beckham-would-great-signing-346423/I'm surprised some of you aren't asking for Beckham to come back too
Impossible.woud rather he didn't.
Don't tarnish your legacy Ginger Prince.
We have to learn to live without you.
the whole thing doesn't up at all. First - it will take Scholes 2-3 weeks get match fit. Within this time Cleverley should be back, Anderson should be ready to play 90 mins every week, Carrick, Jones, Giggs will still be here and ready for action. So what is the point in bringing Scholes back?He would still be amazing for us no doubt. He's only been out of the game for a few months so you don't suddenly lose it.
I just can't see it happening, first of all we would need to get him match fit which would take time, and it doesn't send out the right message to our other midfielders (even know they injuries)
Encourage what? If Scholes does come back, he first has to be on a payroll, contract, medical check, assurance etc. Think before getting your cock out.I shouldn't encourage this, but Gareth Southgate has just tweeted that Scholes arrived at the stadium with the team.
Yeah he's part of our staff.
That's what my probation officer said.
I need to change my pants.I need to change my shirt, feck.
Good question. 22? Didn't he have that before 18?What shirt number?
I wasn't joking.City 0-1 United
............Scholes 90'
Didnt Fergie laugh this off just weeks ago?
I totally wrote this off, but I actually love it now that it's happened!!Our issue in midfield is the lack of fight and ability to retain the ball by hassling the opponent, which I dont think Scholesy would help us with anyways.
