All-time drafts are great but they can become GOATfests and therefore somewhat dull. So in this draft you will have a budget so you will probably end up with many peaches of a player but only one GOAT.

Drafting Award
Following the initial drafting a vote will be taken to determine who wins the Best Drafter Award. Each manager will rank the top three squads that he think were drafted the best (excluding his own). Three points will be assigned to 1st place, two points for 2nd place and one point for 3rd place. These will be sent to a neutral who will then reveal the results.
Player Prices
These prices are final. It took ages to come up with these. The idea was to value them according to their pull in drafts, not necessarily how we rate them. Many players you may disagree with the prices but they shouldn't be wildly off the value you have in your mind.
Any player not listed will cost 15m. If you think a player is missing off the list and should be worth more 40m or more please post it on the thread and I will add them (please don't keep it to your self for an advantage, please play in the spirit of the draft). The players are split into Keepers, Defenders, Midfielders and Forwards for ease of finding a player's price, obviously a few players could be put into different lists.
Match Rules
After the draft starts all games must be played within a week so the draft should take no longer than 4 weeks. If you submit a team sheet but can't engage in the match thread the game will go on anyway. In the case of nothing being provided and you don't show, you will forfeit the game. In the case of an emergency I'm sure a fellow drafter or neutral may be able to argue for you and provide a team from your squad. Just post on this main thread and ask for help.
There shall be no subs during the game, but tactical changes are permitted.
In the event of a draw whoever has the lowest average pick time for his squad will win. (In the event of equal pick times a coin toss will take place). When picks are made please post a picture of the player and the pick time in minutes calculated as the time between your tag and pick. Any picks from someone else as a result of a PM will always be recorded as a 10 min pick time.
Drafters placed 1 and 16 will have their pick time divided by their number of picks where a double picks count as one pick.
Tactics for the OP will be limited to 2500 characters to be used how the managers see fit (it may make sense then to link to player profiles in the main draft thread). If it's any longer the match starter should just cut off the OP at 2500 characters. Please spoiler gifs as it will be quicker to load and not use as much data on mobile.
NB. In the case of having a single manager vs a duo (or anything other than single vs single) they will agree before hand who they're happy to have contribute during the game. Whatever they decide goes.
Reinforcements
The total increase in budget will be 60m for the QF, 70m for the SF and 80m for the final. So your budget for the QF will be 730m, for the SF it will be 800m and for the Final it will be 880m. You can also sell players.
You can sell two players and draft one in a single turn and then draft the second player (with no sales) on your second turn. Essentially player sales are a free action. This should allow a better use of the budget.
e.g First turn - sell van Hanagem 75 and Stielike 55. So reinforcement budget is now 75+55+60 (the extra fund per reinforcement round) = 190. So you would have 190 to spend on two players. You must however draft two players to make your squad equal 14 by the end of the round.
Obviously you could just sell one player per pick round too (maybe because you want to see what others are up to) but it should give some more flexibility.
For the reinforcements for the QF and SF you can have a maximum pick of two players but only one for the final.
Players drafted from defeated managers are available as are previously undrafted players. Also players sold by drafters in the reinforcement round will be available for drafting but only in subsequent reinforcement rounds. For example, if I sell Godin in the QF reinforcement round no other drafter can pick him in that round of drafting, however he would be available to draft in the reinforcements for the SF.
Reinforcements will be a reverse snake for QF, original snake for SF and reverse snake for the Final.
You must always have a minimum of 14 players in your squad at all time.
Draft Order
Draft Rules
- The draft is All-Time so any players are eligible, however any players born on or before 31st December 1939 must come with a link to a full game in which they appeared. Otherwise the pick will be invalid and the next drafter can pick immediately. You can then post a valid pick asap.*
- Snake-Style: The teams will be put in a random order then the first on the list gets first pick going down to 16 but then drafter 16 gets two picks then drafter 15 picks working back up the snake until we've finished all the squads.
- Initial squads will be formed of 14 players
- The only limitation is that you cannot spend more than 670m on your initial 14 man squad.
- No changing of picks.
- You have 8 hours to pick with deadlines beginning 1800 BST Saturday 28th July.
- In the case of a draw the drafter with the lowest average pick time will win
